Should I? (NC)

I just moved to North Carolina after 9 or so years of seasonal work, where I felt like the richest person in the world despite being in 20k+ credit card debt. Food and rent were taken out of my paycheck and I didnt have to drive to work. Now I’m paying rent, driving everyday, and paying for my own food. The only way I’ve been able to make these payments is because of compensation from the VA. I’m paying a little more than the minimum payment, but my interest rate is 18% and basically eats the payment I make every month. I am making ok money as a bartender but making $3/hr, and it goes straight to needs and this credit card. I don’t have any savings and am truly hanging on by the skin of my teeth. I bank with Navy Federal, should I call them and see my options? Would I benefit from filing for bankruptcy?

Does anybody hike/fish down there? I really want to go check it out, but with the threat of a random dam release it doesn’t seem smart

Fontucky/nanty mission!

Times are tough for solo boaters in the southeast, but I managed to make something happen yesterday. Felt good to paddle in the rain and the mist. Nc28 bridge to NOC and back.

Does one shirt look too big or too small?

I’ve always been between sizes. Lately i’ve chosen to size up because I like how some xl’s feel vs large, but a couple friends told me i should size down to “compliment my figure” but that feels restricting. idk, i think more about comfort and the weather over looks when i’m choosing what to wear for the day. What do you think?

Homeslice vs s:6

I have a braaap and an s6 currently. I love the s6 for its playability but it is not very fast, which i knew would come with a shorter boat. But it doesn’t really compliment my paddling style. Surfing is a lot of fun but i carve and dont give a shit about ariel moves. The stern squirtability is really nice too. How would the homeslice compare? I’m a stalky 5’6 170ish dude. Side note- Anybody in the southeast want to trade their homeslice for my s:6? Hah
