Noticed on the highlights this was branded as the “Coca Cola Send-Off Match” despite being played in Chicago before the USA hosts the World Cup. The sponsored match is bad enough, but surely you can’t have a send off if you’re not going anywhere.

Two of my son’s favourite things are making his toys crash and watching soapbox racing on tv (we put it on one lunchtime and started something).

Fletch did all the comms for the Red Bull Soapbox Races and essentially makes his pre-goal noise nearly every time someone crashes. Like on football, he’ll be talking about something and then just blurt “errrhgggggg and he’s crashed!”.

I now get the joy of having my son make that noise with every car he pushes across the living room every single day.

Just wanted to share with people who would understand the pain this has caused.
