Everywhere south of Royal Ave looks to be in the evacuation zone

Hello! I'm looking to buy my first motorcycle (finished MSF course) and the dealer nearby had the 2025 Ninja 650 ABS with no ADM or dealer fees, 0 miles. Listed as $7000, and after tax, destination charge, and papers, it is $8,600 otd.

Is this a good deal? I was looking at used ninjas, but since I'm new I'm worried about having a lack of knowledge of what to look for to not get ripped off. I also lack a way of transporting bikes and it may be easier at the dealer.

Looking to purchase my first bike which will be for fun. I already have a commuter car. Originally I was looking for a Ninja 400 ABS, but it is a little difficult to find a good deal on a clean used one. They're approaching $5k

I was looking at some dealerships nearby and both the Ninja 500ABS or Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS are ~$5,000 before dealer fees. I wouldn't mind spending a bit more for piece of mind.

I wasn't considering a hybrid initially, but the Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS is heavily discounted from $12.5k. What's the catch here?
