Has anyone “downgraded” from the 40mp sensor to the 26mp ?

I have an X-T5 and I’m franky unimpressed with it. Huge file sizes. Older lenses can’t render it properly. Any missed autofocus or camera shake is super obvious. Cropping in seems like a blurry mess, especially on older lenses

I have an X-T20 for years and loved the output from that

I’m considering selling and going to a X-S20 or a X-H2S. I love my Fuji lenses and want to continue using them

Best body to complement the ZF?

I love my ZF and I’ve built a collection of lenses for it. I’m looking to pick up another Nikon body to try something new. Here were my ideas:

Z8 - top of the line, experience true Nikon performance and the higher res sensor

ZR - smaller and lighter to take around town with smaller lenses. Amazing video. Not stills focussed. No EVF means limited for travel

Z6III - a slightly smaller and lighter design with better ergonomics. Might replace the ZF for travel

Anyone else gone down a similar GAS journey)
I don’t need another body but just looking to have some fun with Nikon instead of trying another brand

I’m looking for a M43 setup for travel when I don’t want to lug my full frame setup. I tried both the OM-5 II and OM-3 in my local camera store. The OM-3 is clearly the better made camera. And more aesthetically pleasing. But it felt heavy and hard to handle. The OM-5 on the other hand was small, light, and had a great grip

Now, I’m not super savvy in terms of the specs but I know the OM-3 has lots of under the hood improvements. My main use case for this camera will be travel, snapshots, video work of friends and family, nothing too demanding but I still want good images. I would probably pair with the 12-45mm f4 kit and a fast prime

What do you guys think? Is the OM-3 worth the extra weight and size? Or is the OM-5 enough?
