Todd Howard is a very memeable person.
I posted a picture of Todd Howard’s face photoshopped onto a teletubby. That picture already existed and was like 10th search result under “Todd Howard Meme”.
Any of his employees can find this stuff. And the fact that it exists is sort of insane.
I mean Todd isn’t a celebrity per se. He’s a relatively normal guy who works at a development studio. I don’t think any other person in the gaming industry has been subjected to this treatment.
And this extends to TESVI as well. It’s been memed on hard.
What do you guys think the culture is at Bethesda specifically relating to these memes about Todd and TESVI?
Do the employees share them? Have a casual chat at the “water cooler”?
I think it’s a strong possibility that these memes are in some small part an every day thing at Bethesda. Especially during the development of TESVI.
These are normal people who have their boss and the thing they are working on consistently poked fun at. There’s gotta be something at Bethesda addressing it. Maybe even an internal policy discussing appropriate online discourse when seeing these things.

I think most everyone has thought about this…
I posted this as a comment on another sub but felt it could be a topic to discuss here.
I was 13 in 2011.
I had all of these things happen in that time:
Graduated high school
Graduated college
Moved out on my own
1st career job
2nd career job
Bought a house
Started my own company
Got married
Had my first child
I’m 27 and I’m a completely different person than I was in 2011 (as I should be lol). And my biggest fear about the wait for TES 6 is that I will hate it or not want to play it. Not because the game is bad, the game will be good regardless of anyone saying otherwise, but because I am different now.
I waited all this time and I have had so much of my life change. I don’t really play video games anymore. In the last 8-9 months I’ve played maybe 4ish hours of games. I really just don’t have interest in a lot of games mainly due to being a dad and owning my own business. My priorities just shifted a lot.
I’ve hyped it up to be the game I’m going to disappear into like I did nearly 15 years ago but will I realistically do that? Idk.
Fable will be a good test run because I’m also a big Fable fan. If that goes well then I imagine TES6 will be the experience I expect/hope it to be.

I hesitate to add a meme/shitpost tag because this is a 100% true retelling of my experience.
Last night I had a dream that TESVI was shadow dropped on May 26th, 2026. It was so vivid and real. I can describe the map in depth. The art style, the vibe, all of it was right there in my head.
After realizing the gravity of the moment I immediately went to this sub to find all of the tomorrow believers being praised.
They were being glazed so hard it was akin to the Sermon on the Mount. Specifically /u/jollymuppet
The sub was in pandemonium. The bliss of having what we waited so long for at our finger tips. The long wait was finally over.
I believe this was my calling to change my flair. I am now a follower of the Tomorrow Believers.
