Has Mazda already peaked with the current Gen design?

I’m obviously biased here, but I think the Gen 4 might be Mazda’s most complete package in terms of interior, exterior and overall quality.

With newer cars moving towards giant screens and increasingly complicated styling, I wonder whether Mazda will surpass the Gen 4, or if we’ll look back on it as a high point for the brand.

What do you think Mazda would need to improve to genuinely top it?

[SOTC] minimal collection. maximum enjoyment.

i wouldn’t call it a watch collection, but here are my two-piece combos that have done their job.

f91w: imo, the perfect beater watch. i’ve taken it gyming, running, hiking, swimming, and diving — all the while dropping and tossing it around. and to no one’s surprise, it’s still in perfect working condition! honestly speaking, it’s really the only watch anyone needs, and it certainly lives up to its much-deserved reputation.

explorer 1 36mm: my GADA (ik ik, it’s an overused term by now). anyways, classic design and proportions that perfectly balance the line between form & function. this watch model is the sole reason why i love this hobby (rich history, intentional design, and purposefully built). ironic given the current state of the brand…

(bonus) ollie the dog: small-sized dog that loves walks, eating, and sleeping. lives like a king and i am a mere servant of his.
