Returning to The Netherlands

I am an US Citizen and I moved to the Netherlands when I was 8. I lived there until I was 20 when I moved back to the States.I went to basisschool and completed middelbare school VMBO-T. I had a temporary staying permit while living there which has now expired.

I am just exploring my options to possibly return. It is possible for me to return since I once held a staying permit or should I explore other options?

I have considered also a DAFT visa or Study visa. If anybody could give some guidance or insight I’d much appreciate it. I speak Dutch also, have Dutch step-family and graduated middelbare school in Amsterdam while living there.

First time truck buyer

As the title says i’m going to check out this 2016 1500 Big Horn 3.0 Diesel. I just want some advice on some things I should be looking out for so that I don’t end up with a lemon. This is my first truck in general so any advice is helpful. Thanks in advance

New to the industry

As the title says i’m new in the industry, been with Orkin for about 5 months now. I do enjoy the work and the knowledge I have gained in this short time as i had 0 experience when starting. I want to know if “Call Night” is a norm in the industry. At my branch every Thursday night technicians have to come in and call customers with outstanding balances. In my short journey so far I have gotten the impression that a lot is put on technicians when it comes to customers not paying or customers canceling. I don’t think it should be labeled as my fault if a customer skips on their bill. So I just want to know am I crazy for thinking that their should he an admin who does this or is it normal to work a route and once a week after your route go into the office to call customers.

Not to mention they have now put customers on our routes who have are classified ‘No Pay No Spray’ with huge outstanding balances. The expectation is that we pull up, ring the bell to see if anybody is home, if so ask if they are willing to pay their outstanding balance and if not leaving a door card. I think this is taking it too far.

Thanks all in advance for your responses

Side note; i’m an hourly employee atm but soon suppose to be moving to production so at the point I won’t get paid for “call night”

First time truck buyer

It’s my time first truck and I want a ram 1500, the main reason being I have 2 German Shepherds and need space the breathe without them right on my neck while i’m driving(previous car was a Honda Accord). I found this 2011 Laramie on Carfax, no accidents, 3 owners, 219k miles and routine maintenance(oil and filter changed every 3k miles). The price is $6995 which is amazing for my budget(14k budget)right now.

I just want to know if this is something worth looking into. The truck is 1.5 away from me so I definitely don’t want to waste my time. What else should I be looking out for? I appreciate all of your responses in advance
