Mom and Dad missed the Holocaust in history class

And they're proudly introducing their little nugget "Kyzer."

There is so much wrong with this beyond the gratuitous Y and random Z. This kid is not going to have a good time in World History class, unless his parents are supremacists.

Just a little off...

Today, I ran into Jaysin.

Yesterday's puzzler was Taadrique.

And Thorkel, last week.

Why do so many parents hate their kids havingrelatively traditional names?

One year post op

I began bleeding like a heavy period for absolutely no reason, which is absolutely not normal as a post menopauseal 60something lady.

In a very rapid sequence, I had a doctor visit, an OB visit, and a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy. Everything came out through the "natural opening," which I thought was a tasteful way to phrase it. Part of the prep was citrate of magnesium, like colonoscope prep.

Anesthesia gave me a long lasting pain shot. I stayed overnight because I was super groggy post op. I also had my thyroid removed many years ago and that may have affected my ability to process the anesthetic.

The best thing is that I no longer have uncontrollable urges to pee, and can sleep through the night without a 4 am pit stop. I can also empty my bladder fully and not have to pee again 5 minutes later.

Home with a fridge full of preprepped meals, and I slept and grazed. I was able to drive a few days later and although I still have twinges, I am OK.

There was a little hiccup with an abcess, but that resolved.

So, long lasting pain shot and tramadol after ... it was a spay. If you have pets you know. Tramadol did nothing for me. I was more uncomfortable from the outside than the inside, and ice packs and Aleve helped that.

I have a perfect job, full time WFH. The bane of my existence is the person who is the database admin. Customer facing documents go out with misspelled words and are not corrected. Internal software has errors and repetition in the database that may make records less searchable. In my role, I have to wade through the bad migration language all day every day to do my job.

So, how can the Bane get a well deserved comeuppance? Yes, .my supervisors know. They are either in too many meetings have some other excuses.
