I have always wanted a turtle or a PADI, for one reason or another there was not one in my collection, until now.

I love dive watches but the only other dive watch I own is the SKX007. I have owned that from new and have had it over 15 years. Maybe because that watch has been so good, it has been hard for anything to beat it for me.

The new PADI 60th anniversary caught my eye so I went to see it in person. It blew me away to be honest. In the flesh it is such a good looking watch. Pictures do it no justice whatsoever. To anyone considering it, go and see one and handle it. I am in the UK and the list price is £650 GBP. I was going to pay that but as luck would have it a friend of a friend passed me a discount code for Ernest Jones. 40% off. So I paid £390 GBP. Absolute bargain in my opinion.

My wrist is only 6.5 inches but the short lugs on the turtle means it fits well with no overhang. Feels comfortable on the wrist. Yes it's a chunky thing but I love it.
