First time fish parent freaking out here!!!
My betta fish has developed a cloudy eye on one of his eyes. I meant to get some aquarium salt to treat it but fell sick myself and couldn’t do so. I’ve been doing regular water changes in the hopes that it will help him but I haven’t seen any visible improvement.
Do I skip the salt and order some Kanaplex? Will the Kanaplex affect my snail and/or affect my tank? The more Im reading about this the more confusion it’s getting. Please help me heal my little boy

This is the first time I have a fish and I couldn’t be happier, he’s such a cute n curious fishy. I got him two weeks back, happy to report his fins are healing so well (he was in a very bad condition when I got him). He’s such a beautiful little boy 🥹

Ps: can someone help me figure out how old he is.
