Im new to this series and heard about it and am thinking about getting one of the games on console and the available ones are 2 and 3. Which one should I get since ive heard you dont need to play 3 to understand 2 so im wondering which to start with

Good headset to buy
I need a new headset as my pulse elite headset is showing the bad build quality and snapping so I need a new set that are cheap but good for the price. So far ive been looking at the hyperx cloud III wired or the astro a40 was another i saw recommended. Are either of these good headsets or are there any other recommendations?
