Trying to lose weight

So, I'm 4'0" and 20 years old, born male and since December of 2025 I've been trying to lose weight. For most of my teen years I was always around the 62-65kg range, which is a normal weight and is comparable to my average height twin sister's weight, however, visibly I am overweight.

I'm now down to around 56.5kg, and while that's a good weight, and for an average height person would even be petite, I'm still not at a weight where I'm happy. I'm making visible progress, but not quite there yet. Looking at other people with dwarfism who are visibly smaller with a more lean body, which is what I'm aiming for, I'm forced to assume they're closer to 50kg or less.

But I wanted to get some direct thoughts from others, since it's quite difficult to find specific weight information for our conditions. For those who are comfortable and may have a body type closer to what I'm working towards, what would you guys say your weights are so that I can maybe at least set a base goal to aim for?

Thanks for the help! :3

Sleep schedule is messy, does this affect my dieting?

So as the title says, my sleep schedule is messy. I have chronic insomnia and it's very common for me to wake up in the afternoon or even evening, and fall asleep in the late morning. My question is gonna sound a little stupid because it seems obvious and simple.

I have an idea of how this works, I just need confirmation; my calorie counter is based off what I eat across 24 hours, so even if I go past midnight and it resets, I total in what I ate in the evening after I woke up, but log it for the morning, right?

So say I eat about 800-900 calories between 3pm and 11.59pm, I then have between 300-500 calories to eat between 12.00am and whatever time I go to sleep at, assuming my goal is 1200-1300 calories (I burn 1500 a day, I'm really short at 4'0"), right?

Thanks!

Edit: additional related question! Say that in the morning, I eat those 400~ calories and meet my calorie goal by including the 900 from the previous evening, I then also have to remain at or under 900 when I wake up in the next afternoon/evening too, right? Because if I don't, then from midnight to midnight again, I'll go over my calories across those 24 hours since I had 400 earlier in the day?

Am I missing something?

So I've been an an-com for a while now. 2, maybe 3 years. I had noticed that there was some tension between both anarchists/anarcho-communists and Marxist-Leninist Communists. I didnt quite get why until the past year when I was getting into the specifics of things. Prior to that, I was quite a rookie in my understanding and knowledge of the various ideologies, but an-com always just lined up for me.

I've realised why the tension is there; because many MLs have a weird habit of looking up to the USSR despite one of the core ideas of Communism being the advocation of a stateless society. I didn't notice this for the first while but now that I'm more involved, it feels almost comedically ignorant?

Sure, we can learn a lot from the USSR, but isn't the whole point of Communism to not establish a dictatorship or a harmful state, because those contradict the ideas of it??? Wasn't the bureaucratic dictatorship one of the largest reasons the USSR failed? Am I missing something or are people genuinely this gullible/ignorant? I'm not here to insult anyone, it just feels like its an obvious idea to me and I'm not sure why it's so common for the "States, fascism & dictatorships aren't beneficial" ideology to fall into "We love the bureaucratic dictatorship state!" talks.

How do I train my dog to get up on the bed easier?

So, I have an 11 year old cocker spaniel. He wasn't trained super well by my family, I was quite young when we got him, and because of this he's generally disobedient outside of the usual "sit" and "give paw" stuff. He has a concept of where he needs to poop, but even that's not 100% consistent.

I wanted to try my hand at maybe training him where I can, despite him being quite old now. The first place I wanted to start was getting him up onto the bed. Normally this isn't an issue but here's some context: he typically sleep's on my mother's bed, and he's always been able to just jump up himself, but for some reason now, he won't do it on his own anymore. He won't even do it if you tell him to, and he understands the command and will either try to get up and fail, stare at you and whine, or just run back and forth from the hallway to the bed, seemingly to get a run up then backing out last second. And no, this isn't him needing the toilet, because he'll do this even after I've let him out.

Over the past couple months it's gotten to the point that he now needs fully lifted up, something I physically cannot do myself and my mother has to instead, and will yell and wake up the whole house when he decides he wants to get into bed. He does this multiple times a night, because he routinely jumps down every 30-60 minutes when he wants water, gets too warm or wants the toilet then wants back up, likely being made worse by the horrid UK heat right now.

We assumed this was because of his age, so we got him a ramp of soft steps, but he doesn't seem to recognise this as a way of getting up onto the bed. How can I train him to recognise them as a way up so he doesn't need to bark and whine any time he wants up? It's affecting everyone's sleep and I don't want to have him getting yelled at for something that can be fixed or helped.

I figured I would take treats and guide him up the ramp with those, then only give him one when he manages to get up onto the bed. However, what do I do once he has the command learnt? Do I just stop giving him treats when he does it, or do I do it less over time and focus more on vocal praise and affection?

What is your favourite type of final form?

There's a few different ways that the franchise handles final forms of the main Riders and I've seen a lot of varying opinions on which ones people like, so let's get a bit more of a consensus!

Which way do you like them to do final forms?

  1. A combination form made up of the respective gimmick (e.g Build, Blade, Zio, etc). These forms are made by uniting all of the gimmick items into one powerful form. This is the version that I see the most criticism of and it's not hard to understand why. Outside of Blade and (in my opinion) Build, it is very hard to make a final form with this method that doesn't look tacky, busy, or uninspired. Decade often seems to be the primary punching bag for that criticism. However, there is a lot of praise for the times the franchise does it right.

  2. A final form that simply remixes the base form into something similar but notably improved or better (Zero-one, Kuuga, Geats, W, etc). I think this tends to be the most common final form path the franchise takes. These forms usually work WITH the power system of their series, with some like GeatsIX being an exception, and tend to evolve as sensible progressions from the base form, rarely ever deviating from the base theme. They also tend to be the most visually similar to the base forms as well, often taking the same design but adding a couple extra details or expanding on it, rather than providing a completely new mold or design idea (think how GeatsIX is a natural progression of an engine-fox from MagnumBoost, whereas Build Genius is a total remix compared to RabbitTank).

  3. A shiny god-like form (Ex-Aid, Ghost, Wizard, Saber, Gotchard, etc). These forms tend to, but don't always, directly break the rules of the power system in their series, whereas the combination & progression forms usually work WITH the power system. These are far more flashy in design, often using rainbow palettes, silver or gold, and in Saber's case; space & stars to scream "ultimate power" and portray the new god-like status it provides a Rider. It's a simple design method but is highly effective and has led to some of the most beloved suit designs of the franchise.

If there's any other types of final forms I've missed, let me know! And tell me which ones are your favourites. Personally I like all 3 when done correctly. Build for combination, Hyper Muteki for God-like, and GeatIX for progression are my favourites from each category.

Might do another post asking about people's favourite transformation sequences, so keep an eye out! See ya!
