On the Thursday pod this guy said he was taking Mississippi State to flat out win again Alabama

The current score in the 4th quarter is Alabama 55- Mississippi 23

Just started playing for the first time ever back in June and jumped into ultimate team in July.

Few things about defense I still don’t get.

1.) the majority of people I play just run past me and steal the ball consistently. Doesn’t matter if I hold L2 or take my finger off the sprint. I swear they just run towards me and the ball is ripped..

2.) I’m coming from 2k and I try to play user defense but get torched a lot with left right spin type of moves. I seen online ppl saying ai defense is OP.. when I try and let the ai play defense anyone I play literally just walks/runs past them. If I’m letting AI play defense I have to hit R1 for help defense and then manually switch over. What am I doing wrong?

I’m not expecting to suddenly become great at defending, but I feel like there’s some fundamental mechanic or concept I’m completely missing. Any tips from experienced players would be appreciated.
