Mitchell and Dede continuity

S10 is currently on, & Mitchell was confiding to the Dede tree about Cam and I was thinking, their relationship is obviously meant to be close and codependent which is established well in Dede’s first appearances. But Mitchell doesn’t care when she doesn’t attend his WEDDING! I’ve always thought this was so out of character for him. I get they probably just couldn’t get the actress to turn up for that episode but still you can’t tell me Mitchell wouldn’t have been distraught.

A storyline for adult Luke

Someone posted him rallying votes for Claire on here, and it gave me the idea to post this. I always thought a good storyline for adult Luke would be for him to enter a business or politics mentorship. The Snow Ball scam? When I saw that I thought that kids gonna be a politician. His job at the country club puts him in the position to meet someone like that too. I don’t know if you remember but going back to season two his friendship with Mr. Kleezak, Luke has always had a special bond with the elderly. It’d make perfect sense if he met a rich guy like Jay at the club who saw something in him and decided to mentor him. To add extra tension, it could’ve also been one of his rivals like Earl or Gil’s Dad. In real life, the guys who end up in big business/ politics positions are almost exactly like Luke too. It’s also a shame he never really got a great love interest, especially how he seemed to seek commitment in the later seasons. Cam saying he’s gross & him replying, “I know, this was my chance to turn it around.” I kinda always wished he and the girl from the school newspaper would have a thing. Leslie Kwan Collins, LOL. Didn’t Phil say, somewhere there’s a worried girl making lists right now, and she’s gonna find him?
