Newly diagnosed

After a handful of years with mildly elevated LFT’s and finally a biopsy it looks like my GI doc is calling it. Digging through all the posts here and going down the rabbit hole for treatment, I’m landing on advocating for cellcept as opposed to Aza. I know Aza seems to be 1st line, mostly due to cost and insurance push back. Curious how many people started out on Cellcept and who have received push back on insurance.

Curious if gallbladder issues were hard to catch

Anyone in here that initially had suspected liver issues but ended up being gallbladder? To my understanding gallbladder issues can be missed for awhile. Undergoing a liver biopsy tomorrow for mildly elevated liver enzymes & becoming a little suspicious of my gallbladder. I do have a positive ANA so there is likelihood it’s autoimmune but the mild nature of my liver enzymes makes me think it’s a sluggish gallbladder.

Ants

Had a bunch of ants get inside today (prob due to rain). Took several
Hours to get them all & cleaned up & spread some vinegar around outside. Reverently destroyed a mound in my yard. These mounds are all around my subdivision. I wanted to put an outdoor bait but I guess I’m scared it will attract more than the colonies in my yard. Any advice?

How concerned should I be?

Had mold inspection done prior to 1 yr build warranty expiring out of concern after discovering a loose overflow drain. The walls were negative for any moisture.

Genetic testing

Anyone in this group have genetic testing done to detect gene mutations such as PNPLA3 (rs738409) for fat metabolism as a risk factor? If so, how did you do it? Through a doc or online order test kit? Also, what was the cost?

Poll

So I’m like 9 mos on HrT and STILL trying to work out dosages. Maybe I have my expectations too high. So far it has helped a ton, but I feel like it can be better. But also realize the erratic nature of hormone swings with peri. I hear women say they achieved total symptom control & others say it just helps keep most under control. So I want to know what percentage of symptoms would you say have been alleviated.

Irritability

In my 1st year of HRT and dealing with dose adjustment to find a sweet spot. Recently was bumped a 2nd time to 0.075 and experienced really bad irritability at peak ovulation & then days 21/22. Nearly intolerable so took myself back down. Anyone notice the irritability get better with time on higher doses? I do take Progesterone 200 daily. Wondering if I need 300?

Fire hazard ?

Noted fire hazard from my 1 yr home inspection. Inspector says it should have never passed inspection prior to me purchasing. I’m waiting on builder to address it but how dangerous is this?

Had an inspection done as my 1 year new build warranty approaches. He was very thorough & There were many items on the report. Builder reached out & was clearing annoyed by the length of the report, told me they don’t fix everything on those reports & told me to send him a shorter condensed list. I’m pretty sure most items are covered under warranty. Just concerned I’m going to get push back as he was somewhat objecting to an electrical issue that is a hazard, telling me the city approves those. Inspector told me that should have never passed city inspection & that the city just slaps stickers on things. At any rate, do real estate attorneys take things like this on often? Hoping it don’t come to that, but it may.
