🎉I FINISHED ALL OF AHRI'S COMBO TRIALS🎉

I'm sure this doesn't really matter or isn't that much of an achievement to a lot of you, but this was a huge W for me.

I've been wanting to play more 2XKO, but I find it difficult to enjoy the game when I'm so bad at it. Part of that frustration stemmed from not even knowing how to convert off of a big opening or punish so I lost a lot of games from just not doing a lot of damage.

Beating this (and the previous) combo into my skull has turned way more successful engagements into game-winning combos and that feels pretty good to have under my belt.

One of my favourite things about these handheld devices is the personal spin that people put on them (wallpapers/launchers/frontends). Transforming something sold and commercial into something so personal and honest is just really cool to me; that we can all have the same device, but different tastes and aesthetics that make them end up looking completely different.

I don't personally find myself to be very creative or have any good actual ideas to make my device more, like, *mine*, so I've just got a live wallpaper of Miyabi From Zenless and I think it looks quite nice (and does nothing to drain the battery!)

I came into Neverness to Everness with a mostly neutral (leaning a little negative) frame of mind. NTE wasn't super on my radar. It didn't really interest me much at first, and in all honesty, I really just played it to fill the void of [OTHER GAME] coming out hopefully soon, but since I last saw footage/gameplay of NTE, it's really levelled up.

The story is pretty interesting and I wasn't expecting the SCP-esque flavour of what the MC does for a living. It really lends itself well to the wacky, surreal visuals, too. I love how weird the setting can get sometimes; it leads to so many fun "ooh" and "aah!" moments.

I absolutely *love* being able to explore in first person; it genuinely kinda changes everything lol. Driving around, climbing buildings, even running on the ceiling from the perspective of the character is a ton of fun.

I'm a fan of how the combat feels. It's mostly pretty simple, but the hitstop (especially when you manage to defeat something) is very satisfying. I can always respect a nice parry system.

Building teams isn't something that I'm particularly good at, but it has been fun to try and mix and match characters to make synergies that actually make sense.

All the side quests and additional activities are also a blast.

Overall, I've been having a really wonderful time with the game. I've got tiny gripes here and there (>!not being able to race Headless Rider on a motorcycle is pretty disappointing. I thought my quest was broken for the longest time!<), but for the most part it's been a frictionless experience.

I really hope that NTE does well and that other people give it a chance because it's just really chill and a lot of fun.

Edit: I was really concerned about how the driving would feel from the initial gameplay impressions I've seen and watched, but I think it handles really well. I spend like, 60% of my time on a motorcycle and it never really feels floaty or clunky or anything (outside of the weird fps-fixed physics lol)
