Why just why they did this to widow

No one asked for whatever the hell is that in the suggested combo in her kit showcase in the game

So I made this a habit starting from last season where I am kinda afraid that they release the patch notes and rework widow into something I can’t recognise and I might hate it a lot

Widow is so much special in my heart yk, I am afraid that I can’t find fhe same joy after an uzis rework because people can’t aim

Even in widow’s first legendary they fuck it up more than how already a nothing burger it’s 🫩

Like her sprint is already limited and I need to do it again to stop the music

Widow is being actually played fr and not for throwing more than expected which’s nice imo, it will take the throwing persona off her if her win rate reaches something around 45~50% wr

Tbh I dunno i feel so burnt out of the game guys, yes I love widow and she’s the reason I am still in the game but it’s been more than a year and she’s still the same which’s boring after a while

I dunno but I don’t have any expectations for her in s9 and I guess it’s gonna be my last straw if they don’t buff her(which is like guaranteed to not happen)

And tbh her new skin is a huge nothingburger imo and I still prefer her s2 bp skin and lion’s heartbeat skin

So I am not sure if she should have 275 hp or stay at 250 hp with these changes

First is her batons which they get a small buff which’s increasing the hit speed from 2 to 3

And for her red room rifle and straight shooter:1-the rechambering effect is no longer mandatory but the animation and sounds of the rechambering stays to keep the same flow(so the fire rate doesn’t change but now you don’t get forced to rechamber if you got stunned and the rifle didn’t rechamber so this isn’t a buff but a QoL change) 2- now applies a 30% healing reduction effect on headshots(50% reduced on vanguards), the effect will only get refreshed but doesn’t stack the duration or effect) 3-hits now reduce the cooldown of edge dancer by 2 seconds per hit(doesn’t matter if bodyshots or headshots)

Fleet foot:1-increase the speed boost from 33% to 40% 2- it’s no longer tied to a stamina and now is infinite 3- power jump is now a sub-ability to it and it has 2 charges and 2 seconds cooldown per charge and now it got increased jump height and widow can climb the remaining of the wall if she’s near the edge of the high ground

Edge dancer: cooldown reduced from 15 to 12 seconds

Electro plasma explosion: 1-damage reduced from 120-170 to 100-140 2- enemies in the globules area will now get 20DoT 3- slow effects reduced from 55% to 45% 4- the vulnerability effect is now applied to anyone in the globules area instead of the explosion effect and it will remain on them till they leave the globules area 5- the vulnerability effect is only applyable for widow only and her allies can’t use it too

I suspect that Widow’s incoming skin won’t have a new weapon model. So we absolutely need to have a huge voice to make the devs add a weapon model if it doesn’t have one,and we need something respectable,literally all if her other skins(except for lion heartbeat and hellfire gala skins) don’t have weapon models

I mean it’s pride month after all so who knows

Tho also while keeping the same fire rate,cuz widow’s firing intervals is around 1.2(on a 0.83 fire rate) seconds so keeping the same fire rate will not change it. Also it will solve lots of problems which are that you literally will always need to rechamber before shooting even if you switch to her batons will not rechamber the rifle automatically and when switching to the rifle back you need to rechamber it.

It’s nice but tbh I dunno it’s not like they do it out of kindness because widow is from the last patch of heroes to get accessories

Well I don’t think there will be anything for her tbh regarding buffs

I wish they do these buffs for widow even though most of them are QoL changes

1- straight shooter headshots now apply 45% healing reduction for 2 seconds

2- red room rifle will rechamber no matter what happens(when getting stunned or using the batons or using her edge dancer’s first part of the combo)

3- edge dancer cooldown reduced to 11 seconds

4- fleet foot energy increased to 180 and now can reload while sprinting

I dunno really guys but I feel like they’ll rework widow next season since all of her bugs haven’t been fixed and now we got two new whic are the no sound effects for her ms barnes skin and the edge dancer combo’s second part not being able to be used sometimes and the fact that they didn’t give her one balance change for over a year now.

If they reworked her completely or in ways that changes her playstyle I don’t think I will continue playing her as I am here for the gameplay not the person herself.
