Failed ISTQB | Motivation, strategy?

Probably one of many posts of that kind, but I need to vent as I am currently extremely frustrated about my failed ISTQB Foundation Level exam. I missed it today by 2 points.

I prepared myself for about two months, besides working full time. I’ve studied mock exams from the official ISTQB board in my country. I used third-party mock exams and questionnaires. I utilized AI to ask me questions, make quizzes, etc.

Then today: the real exam was really hardcore. The questions were more complicated than in the mock exams, and for Chapter 4 topics, the dataset was worse than in the craziest mock exams. I didn’t get the opportunity to get an easy question. Even wordings appeared which I never heard of before while I was studying the mock exams.

It took me around 55 minutes to have all questions answered, and in the end: 60%

It may be a mood because it feels fresh, but thinking of sitting down again and trying to cover all eventualities and study or let AI invent the most complicated questions just sucks out the last drop of energy I have right now. On top of that, I’ve to spend money for purchasing another exam slot.

Any advice on how I can pull myself out of this misery? I am planning to feed AI the official syllabus and let it ask me questions from that source only.

Made a small K-Drama quiz site over the weekend

Hey everyone,

I got obsessed with the idea of "can you recognize a drama from just a scene description?" so I spent a weekend building a small quiz site for it.

It's called K-Drama Guesser → kdramaguesser.com

How it works:

- 60 written scene descriptions across Easy / Medium / Hard

- Pick the right drama from 4 options

- Korean voice says "정답입니다" when you get it right (small thing but I love it)

- You can build a watchlist of dramas you didn't recognize → links straight to Netflix/Viki at the end

- No signup, no ads, no tracking

I'd love feedback. What dramas should I add next? Is it hard enough? 😃

(For context: this is a personal hobby project, not a startup or anything — I just like K-Dramas and wanted to make something fun.)

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some kind of cushion or pillion seat upgrade for my Super Cub. My wife starts feeling uncomfortable pretty quickly on the stock pillion seat, even on short rides.

Right now I’m still running the original pillion seat.

I already tried one of those generic cushions from Amazon that you strap over the pillion seat, but it was basically useless and kept moving around while riding.

Has anyone here found a more comfortable solution? Maybe a better aftermarket seat, gel pad, or cushion that actually makes a noticeable difference for passengers?

Appreciate any recommendations or setups that worked for you.

Install experience + impressions (Webike Europe)

I ordered the Moriwaki Short Monster exhaust for my Honda Super Cub JA58 via Webike Europe. The shipment effectively comes from Japan, with a stop in Austria before delivery to me in Germany. So no further tax or surprises. I know what to pay when ordering, which is quite convenient.

Total delivery time was around 9 days including the weekend, which was faster than expected.

Package contents:

  1. Japanese installation manual (translation via AI worked fine)
  2. Two stickers
  3. Japanese certificate (?)
  4. Mounting hardware (bolts, washers, grommets, etc.)
  5. Exhaust unit

Tools needed:

12mm socket
Ratchet
Extension for ratchet
12mm combination wrench
Torque wrench

Installation summary:

First step was removing the foot peg assembly (four 12mm bolts). Then the stock exhaust was loosened at the swingarm using a 12mm socket and ratchet. One of the engine-side bolts requires a ratchet extension to reach properly!

Before installing the Moriwaki, the rubber grommet (damping piece) has to be inserted into the rear mounting hole. This part is a bit fiddly and takes patience. On the outside, a washer goes on one side and a special “grommet collar” on the other (facing the motorbike). Then the M8 bolt goes through the swingarm mount and the exhaust bracket, secured with the flange nut.

I tightened it slightly just to hold everything in place.
The exhaust is then mounted to the engine. The manual includes a diagram for this. Moriwaki recommends replacing the exhaust gasket during installation. I didn’t have a new one available, so I reused the old gasket for now, but I will likely replace it later.

After everything is aligned, the foot peg assembly is reinstalled and torqued to spec using a torque wrench (values are provided in the manual).

Impressions:

The sound is noticeably different compared to stock -> deeper, louder, and more “mature.” No measurements, but it’s clearly more present and engaging.

Throttle response feels improved, and the bike overall feels more lively. It gives the impression that the engine breathes more freely. I didn’t notice a change in top speed so far.

Build quality is very good, it looks and feels premium, and it is extremely light (around 3 kg).

Overall, it changes the character of the Super Cub quite a bit and makes it more fun to ride. It does take a bit of getting used to the louder sound.

I have some photos and a video (apologies for the editing skills). Happy to answer questions if anyone is considering the same setup. https://youtube.com/shorts/GzASZRJcR-o?is=HijIWrDqBtsbhxdY
