When to transplant to a bigger pot?

When to transplant to a bigger pot?

Neighbor gifted my husband 3 seedlings early Spring and only one has survived. It’s about 13 inches tall now. Is it too early to move to a bigger pot?
Zone 7a.
Thanks for the help.
(Ps. I’m a newbie, sorry if the flair I selected is wrong)

Two More Roses Couldn’t Hurt… Right?

I told myself, “No more roses.” 🌹😂

…and then we drove past a greenhouse with a Fourth of July sale: 25% off all perennials — today only!
My willpower didn’t stand a chance.

Eustacia Vye is beautiful!

I planted her last July and she is a repeat bloomer in my zone, 7a.

Mislabeled rose. Please help ID!

It was supposed to be a Francis Meilland, and it wasn’t 😔 I got it from Home Depot and was really looking forward to seeing it bloom. It has a light tea fragrance.

Walmart Rose Wrong ID

Walmart coffin rose was labeled True Sincerity but the very first bud is Yellow 😂. A yellow rose with strong scent and glossy foliage. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What do you think is the name of this rose?

Please ID my rose 🌹

Bought from Home Depot a couple years ago. It has:

*salmon/pink blooms

* large bloom

* very long canes/tall upright growth

* less leafy/open growth habit

* no fragrance

* glossy green foliage

Prone to black spots 😢

I originally thought it might be Queen Elizabeth or another grandiflora/hybrid tea type, but I’m not sure.

Anyone recognize it?

Need help identifying this rose 🌹

This was planted before I even cared about roses 😂 so I have no clue what it is.

What I know:
• Deep crimson/burgundy blooms with that almost black-red velvety look
• High-centered bloom with ruffled petals
• Glossy foliage
• Very vigorous upright growth with tons of buds
• Faint scent, not a strong old-rose fragrance

Bought from either Lowe’s or Home Depot a couple years ago. It’s now a big healthy shrub and keeps pumping out blooms.

My guess is Black Magic or maybe something similar? Would love help identifying it! Thanks in advance.

First bloom of Mr. Lincoln in my garden ❤️

First bloom of Mr. Lincoln in my garden 🌹 I was worried it was mislabeled since it came as a bare root from Lowe’s — or a “coffin rose” as some would call it 😅 — but it really is Mr. Lincoln after all.

Help! Bare root seems to be struggling.

I planted this bare root to a bigger pot. A half barrel size. I used potting soil with perlite. I also added more drainage holes at the bottom. It’s been a week and a half and it seems that it’s struggling. I cut off some of the stems that turned yellow/dark already.

We’ve have had rain in 3 days too.

All my other bare root plants seem to be doing much better but they’re all planted in the ground. I just ran out of room so I potted this one.

PayPal Charge From Bluehost but I Never Had an Account?

Has anyone gotten a PayPal authorization/charge from Bluehost without ever having a Bluehost account?

I got a PayPal notification saying Bluehost authorized a charge, but I have never used Bluehost, bought hosting, or owned a website/domain through them. I checked my PayPal activity and it appears to be real, not just a phishing email.

I already removed the automatic payment authorization and changed my password, but I’m trying to understand:

Does this mean someone used my PayPal account?
Can merchants accidentally authorize the wrong account?
Has this happened to anyone else?

The charge is showing completed.

Any advice on next steps besides disputing it with PayPal?

Looking for advice on delayed home project in Rhode Island.

Need advice on going after a fence contractor in RI.

We hired someone about 7 months ago to do a fence project. There’s no formal contract, but we do have:
- text messages discussing the work/timeline
- pricing/details for the materials
- proof he cashed the check for materials ($1,600)

Since then it’s been nonstop excuses, pushed dates, cancellations, and now basically ghosting us. We gave him a final deadline of 5/18/26 to either start the job or refund the money, and he didn’t take it seriously at all.

What’s the best route in Rhode Island for something like this? Contractor Board? Small claims court? Attorney General?

Just looking for advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before and what actually got results.

How to revive this rose from Lowe’s?

Anyone here has successfully revived a sad rose plant from big box stores?

Bought this today from Lowe’s and it’s the only one of its kind left but for $19.99, I think it’s worth it.

I am unable to plant this straight into the ground yet since I still have 12 roses to decide on their final locations.

I need your tips/tricks please to revive this Francis Meilland rose 🙏. Thanks in advance.
