App for all* your subscription

Some of you might remember a post I made a while back asking for TestFlight testers for Cratelog (Shelved back then), a little app to track book box subscriptions, skip windows, renewal reminders, that kind of thing.

Coming back with an update: Cratelog is now live on the App Store!

First off, a huge thank you to everyone who tested it. The feedback genuinely shaped a lot of what the app is now, so I really mean it.

It's still actively in development and I'm pushing updates regularly, so there may be the occasional bug (and if something doesn't work... well, consider it a feature 😄). Seriously though, if you run into anything, use the feedback option in the app.

It's completely free. Feel free to share it with friends or anyone else who's drowning in book box emails.

I'm also working on an Android version because I know some of you wanted it there too, so stay tuned 👀

Built an app for my wife to manage her book box subscriptions, looking for people who'd want to test it

Hey, first off sorry if this isn't the right place for this kind of post, mods feel free to
nuke it if so.

Anyway. Built this thing for my wife after watching her miss a couple of skip windows because
the deadline buried itself in an email thread somewhere. Calendar reminders + a half-maintained
spreadsheet wasn't really cutting it, so I figured I'd just make something.

It's called Shelved. For now it's focused on the subscription side:

- Add your boxes and the app tracks your skip counter per box with the actual rules each one
uses (rolling year, calendar year, 6-month window, series-based, that kind of thing)
- Push reminder 3 days before a skip deadline you set, and 3 days before a subscription renews
- Skip itself is still manual, you go to the box's site / email like always. The app doesn't
pretend to automate anything, it just makes sure you don't miss the window

iOS only for now, via TestFlight. Drop a comment or DM and I'll send the link over.

Mostly looking for a handful of people who actually subscribe to a box or two to try it for a
month or so. Genuinely counting on feedback here, what's broken, what's confusing, what's
missing. And if you've got ideas for things you'd want from a tool like this, throw them in
too, that stuff is honestly the most useful.

Cheers.

EDIT:

Wow, I didn't expect so many people to be interested! To make things simpler, here's the link to the Apple TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/9kn24BbS.

If anyone has any issues, feel free to ask and I'll try to help.

I'm trying to fix and update things daily, but sometimes it takes Apple one or two days to update versions, so you can check TestFlight for updates from time to time.
