Currently reading the Mindsight June book and absolutely loving it. I'm not finished it but so far it's reading as 4 or 5 stars for me. Very pleased.

Hey everyone! A while back I'd created an Android app to keep track of all my subscriptions, particularly the skip dates. When I saw someone making one for iOS, I was inspired to make mine something that other people could use as well!
It's now available in the Google Play store (for free) and it's named BookHaul. It allows you to track subscriptions and preorders/one-off orders, fill out sub info from scratch or pick from a preset library, put in tracking info and get a link to parcelsapp, keep track of all your skips so you don't hit your limit, see your past and projected spending (honestly that tab is scary, maybe you should just avoid that one) and the most important part - set in-app or push notifications before payment dates and skip deadlines.
I'm probably going to go ahead and put it on the iOS store as well in the next few days, but full credit to u/OGFurious who already has Cratelog out on the iOS store, so you should take a look at that and see if it meets your needs, if you're an iPhone user! His post is what inspired me to make mine available for android.
BookHaul was tested thoroughly, but there's always room for improvement. So if you see something wrong, or you'd like to make a request or suggestions for other features, you can message me, or use the links in the app to leave feedback or join the discord.

Hi guys. I received this email from Illumicrate, saying that I have only one skip remaining. However, I did not use any yet, because I joined during “Japanese Gothic” months and I didn’t skip (neither had the possibility being my first month in the sub). I’m not intending to skip July neither, but I’m just curious about the reason why I can skip only one book for the rest of the year. Any thoughts? Thanks!

This is the first book I have from Illumicrate (Last Contract of Isako). There are a few pages that have the binding glue half a cm into the pages along the whole length. Other pages have blotches of glue that stick out. Pulling it apart is not an option. It just rips. You can see it on the sprayed edges too.
I'm wondering if this is a thing others have had before with Illumicrate or I just had bad luck? Or is this purely on the publisher (Orbit in this case) that they provided Illumicrate with a bad block? But then still, I'd like to know if I should expect less than ideal quality in general from their subscription.
Some of you might remember a post I made a while back asking for TestFlight testers for Cratelog (Shelved back then), a little app to track book box subscriptions, skip windows, renewal reminders, that kind of thing.
Coming back with an update: Cratelog is now live on the App Store!
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who tested it. The feedback genuinely shaped a lot of what the app is now, so I really mean it.
It's still actively in development and I'm pushing updates regularly, so there may be the occasional bug (and if something doesn't work... well, consider it a feature 😄). Seriously though, if you run into anything, use the feedback option in the app.
It's completely free. Feel free to share it with friends or anyone else who's drowning in book box emails.

Can anyone help me please. I received my invite yesterday for illumicrate, it says it expires at 12pm today (24th) but every time I click the link to buy, it just adds me to the waitlist.
I have emailed them but I doubt they’ll respond in time 😕
Any idea or hint of when Illumicrate will share their next batch of special editions? They usually announce at least one book a month, but they haven't released any info this month. Dead Beat by Leigh Bardugo, and the Suhwa by S. Jae-Jones are coming out soon and Illumicrate has done all the over books in those series, so shouldn't an announcement be coming soon? Taipei Story is coming out soon too, and Illumicrate has literally done ever R.F. Kuang book, so again where's the annoucement?

Hi, I need a reality check from my fellow book lovers!
For background, I ordered the Jane Austen set from illumicrate, which was a pretty penny, but I wanted a nice set of these classics. When they arrived, a few of them were damaged. Rubbed edges so the color was gone and the white of the spine/binding was showing. A major dent. I put in a ticket request for three of the books, but I can’t see which titles I referenced because it was submitted via the site rather than an email. I noticed a fourth book was also damaged when I was sending more pictures via email, at their request. Looking back, there was some confusion as to which four books were involved since I added another title to the complaint and that’s on me for not laying it all out at the end.
They sent me three replacements and two of them are great. Mansfield Park (purple side by side books) is damaged in a different way. They did not send a replacement for Northanger Abbey (red book). My question is, should I ask for another replacement for these books? Is that rude? Is the damage not that bad and I’m being a little intense? I love the books and I don’t want to be a pain for the company
