Is it odd that only US stores seem to have it for preorder? Yes, yes it does seem odd. I did a bit of research and it would appear that the distributor, Alliance Home Entertainment, holds the North American physical media rights, but the immediate rollout was heavily prioritized through U.S. retail channels, so that's why Amazon US and Walmart were the first to have stock listings. Alliance confirmed it by posting to their IG Stories back when the listing first appeared on Amazon.

My Cat Peanut and Broox have arrived from Nordstrom!
Incidentally I placed the exact same order with Jellycat USA during early access (which I only did because I wasn't sure how well stocked they were going to be, and whether Cat Peanut would be available in stores). I ordered with Nordstrom the day after and got it today, whereas my direct JC order isn't supposed to arrive until Monday. Got free shipping with both (I had to add a Fergus bag charm to the JC order to meet their minimum; Nordstrom has no minimum).
I'm happy with the look of the Jellies from Nordstrom; I seem to have better luck with them than ordering directly from JC.

It's not signed because it's TBB edition, but I've been on the hunt for this design for a while and nearly caved getting on Mercari several times. Also thought about getting Goldsboro's edition even though I don't like it as much. (I do also have PS Publishing's edition on order.) Then a hero on this sub mentioned when it was in the Infirmary, and I was able to grab it. ๐ฅน
As has been the experience of others who've purchased from the Infirmary, mine arrived with barely noticeable imperfections... Some spots on the bottom edge and some corner fading on the dust jacket. (I've noted in pics with yellow arrows.) These are all I can see of why the book was listed as slightly damaged... But tbh if I'd received the book like this purchasing from Dragon's Hoard rather than Infirmary I wouldn't have thought much of it.
Oh and neat surprise - what I didn't know from only seeing pics online is that the scales on the cover are lightly textured. Cool tactile feature, I love it.
I was so torn about ordering this because I've been trying not to get too many copies of the same book, but I just liked it so much. I'm glad I eventually caved, because the author has said that currently there are no plans to restock it, even for in store on release day. I don't know how many people were hoping for that vs getting secondhand, but fyi.

I got her on the US JC site not that long ago and I'm surprised that the product page for this bunny has already been removed entirely (rather than keeping it up and having it say retired, for example).

I'm really loving Jellycat hunting in a different country. There are sooooo many in Singapore and Australia that I haven't seen/can't get in the US. They do seem quite marked up, but since they're hard for me to find otherwise I've gone ahead with the purchases!
Yesterday I picked up Squawkatoo in the airport and also at a huge shop in Sydney was able to get Stellan, Junglie, and Carys. I alllllllmost also got a Really Big Bart today at a different store, but he was quite pricey at $350AUD so I decided I'd wait for a restock on the US site, whenever that might be. I figure he's a flagship Jelly so hopefully they haven't secretly retired the Really Big size. I loved him in person though. ๐ฅฒ
Literally as soon as I stepped out of the gate there was a little selection of Jellycats waiting! I nabbed Squawkatoo! I am gathering quite the selection of birds, unintentionally (at least up until this point) and am thrilled about it. ๐

I'm currently visiting Singapore from the US (I only brought Peanut with me), and today I was able to get so many new friends! Some of them have definitely been harder to come by in the US. ๐ฅฒ But I also had to leave some behind, because I couldn't actually buy everything. ๐ซ I still have so much of my trip left!
