Owlcrate just added series extras overstock

Owlcrate just added a bunch of extras of books from the series they've done. Note that these are individual books, not sets. You can only buy one of each title. In case anyone missed.

"Surprise! We did some digging in our warehouse and we have some Series Extras available in our store!

These are individual copies of some of our Limited Edition books, previously available only in their full sets. Please note that these are not reprints but remainders from our Limited Edition sales. Books will sell out fast—grab them while you can!"

Huge Dexter finally landed in the US!

Thank goodness because I was about to buy some Jellies I was on the fence about just to secure the pin.

Malachy arrived from Nordstrom and they included football stickers too 🥹

Thanks to someone on this sub I was able to get a Malachy shipped to me from Nordstrom. Many thanks 🙏 to that person. I wasn't expecting them to include some "Football Club" stickers in the package too. Like stop that's so cute.

Anyway I think signs are there that US will get a restock from JC soon - lots of stockists are getting them and there was that EU/UK restock just today. Know lots of people are still waiting for their chance!

Fae Crate July + Aug 2026 emoji hints, with Autumn's guesses

July YA: >!Kingdom of Waves by Melissa de la Cruz!<

July Adult: >!The Girl with a Thousand Faces by Sunyi Dean!<

August YA: >!The Game of Oaths by S.C. Bandreddi!<

August Adult: >!Hallowed Be Thy Name and Runaway Prince by Morgan Dante!<

I'm really excited about July Adult. I had to skip >!The Broken Binding's!< edition, so am reallllllly hoping I'll like Fae Crate's version, especially since it'll have their better book specs. I just hope I like the art.

If anyone's read any of these, please share your thoughts!

Surprised by the size of the ball

In the photo the game ball doesn't seeeeem much bigger than the cards and whistle; I was expecting it to be more regulation size or at least not quite so small for $70. 😅 (The others are $28 and $38 with admittedly simpler designs.)

Photo from my contact at a local Nordstrom (unfortunately not one that gets a lot of rare stock).

Why the price difference between Puddlesea and Patchwork Brown Bunny?

Puddlesea is basically the blue version of Patchwork Brown, and they have exactly the same specs. It's not like Jellycat to lower prices. 😂😖 So does anyone have a theory why there's a $10 price difference between them, with the *newer* release costing less? I don't know too much about the bunnies.

Made my early access order (US) + what's available!

Still haven't gotten a newsletter notification about early access, but I clicked around anyway and noticed we could order.

The ones we can order don't show up that way on the wishlists or Coming Soon, but if you click into the individual pages the early access ones can be added to bag.

Available for early access:

- Fancy Carp

- Maffles Manatee

- Roarwell Sea Lion

- Puddlesea Bunny

- Bart Seafarer

Pelican and the others are not in Early Access.

My mom and I have Zodihops with such different faces it's wild

It's Mother's Day in the US so I got together with my mom and we both had our Zodihops. It was the first time we'd seen them side by side and we were bowled over by how different they look! I mean, obviously the coloring is different for every one, but the faces are what stood out to us - not sure if it comes across as well in pictures?

Anyway, we each love our own Zodihop, so no issues there or anything. But curious to know what this community thinks, do you prefer the left or the right bunny? (If you care to share, would also love to know why!)

Faecrate YA April 2026

Oh I'm a fan of this one. And yes, per usual for Faecrate, it has sewn binding. :)

Coral, Tiny Smudge Elephant and Hippo, at Bloomingdale's

In case anyone was looking for these or Sky Dragon.

Fair warning that some of these may be backordered as Bloomingdale's is notorious for that, but you could always cancel easily later if you find it somewhere else.

Smut & Sip June emoji teaser + book guess

I'm feral if it's >!Promise Me by Sara Cate, as is being speculated. Yes, it's actually the second book in the series but they're standalone, since the first book is an M/F pairing with different characters. I personally need more of these bigger boxes to do M/M romances!<! 😍

My set of Fate & Furies and Shadow & Storms arrived today! I've seen others post photos of the books here and here, but those didn't include the end papers, so just sharing those. :)

First I wanted to say that while they're both gone again for now, I'm sure they'll be back. Jellycat restocks recently seem to have multiple restocks happen in batches over several days. Happened with Dorit, Snow Dragon, and Sacha, among others. So if you wanted one of these and missed out this time, I'd bet you'll have a chance again soon.

The cherries bag charm came back in stock the other day for a minute, but I hesitated about paying for shipping and I missed out. Then earlier I was randomly checking my wishlist again and saw that not only was the bag charm back, so was the lavender dragon (in huge, what a shocker), so was able to pair them (along with a bean)! I've been wanting a huge Jellycat for a while but never imagined it would be Lavender Dragon. 🥹

It's going to be >!Queen of Roses and Court of Claws by Briar Boleyn!<, with the final two books available as an add-on at a later date.

I have the opportunity to purchase a preorder of DDC done by a very very small book rebinder (one person operation). I've purchased from her before so I know she's legit. However her latest project is a big commitment, so wanted to get a sanity check from others who are into the series and might understand why I might be interested!

I'm intrigued by her new set for DDC, but because there are small artists involved and the rebinds are done by hand, it's quite expensive. Given the small operation the books are NOT specially printed; as the word "rebinder" suggests, she is rebinding existing publisher's hardcover versions with new artwork and edges. (The full set also comes with custom overlays, bookmarks, and a 3D model of Carl and Donut.) If you're not familiar with rebinding, this is a growing hobby and business for a lot of book binders, and is legal under the first-sale doctrine.

She has the art and edges for the first two books, with the artist still working on the art for the other books, so there is an unknown factor here (I love what I've seen so far - scroll through the images), and getting all the books will likely take some time. This initial preorder closes on May 15, with all the artwork aimed to be completed by mid-June.

She's committed to do the series of 8 books, with either $185 per book or $1300 for the entire set (comes to $162.50 per book). For a good rebind this is a common going rate. But obviously that's a LOT of money, considering these are just rebinds of publisher's editions and don't have luxury features like sewn binding or anything, but again, I get it because of the handmade nature and the fact that there's no possible way she'll be able to sell mass quantities of it.

For me due to where I live in the US there's no tax and shipping is inclusive in the price.

I did recently participate in Matt Dinniman's Kickstarter campaign so am already expecting 3 books from that, so I'm inclined not to cave to my desire to get this rebound set. But... I'm still waffling. Am I totally nuts to even consider it?
