Nice long open preorder from Nov 5 to Feb 5. 🙂‍↕️

Someone asked to see Bizzlestomp in someone's arms so here he is!

I'm thinking of naming him 26 Backpack in honor of this year's Fat Bear Week champion, 89 Backpack. 😂

My dream Jelly, the cheesecake, is so delightful. 🥹 Not only are the details just *chef's kiss*, it's also much softer than I was expecting!

I'm obsessed with both Hollanov and enamel pins, so I'm glad when I can blend the two. 😆 I have soooo many I want to share, but these are some I've received recently!

My pics just can't do the beautifully foiled reverse jacket justice, unfortunately. It's gorgeous in person. I don't often display the reverse cover of a book, but I think this is an instance where I need to.

They're beautiful! 😍

Horror fans - Owlcrate is doing a special edition set of The Only Good Indians and Off the Reservation by Stephen Graham Jones.

I already have the Black Crow Books editions preordered, but I think to be safe I have to get this set as well. OC's edition of Buffalo Hunter Hunter is reselling for a ridiculous amount, so I don't want to regret not getting this set at retail when I could!

Idk when I'll actually be able to go to the Jellycat Diner. 😢 There are soooo many things I want!

They're so cute!

Little Jiji on the edge? Love it so much.

The second book was translated to English and published for the first time with this release (original Japanese published in 1993).

Also, I got the signed version of the second book, and I was surprised to see that it has a handwritten signature, since many Asian authors whose works are translated from their original language frequently use a custom, personalized name stamp instead. She wrote her Japanese name plus a cute little broom drawing underneath. 🥰 Amazing for an author who is 91 years old!! I have no idea how many she signed (I got mine from Barnes & Noble but I know they were also available at Books A Million).

Autumn's guess is >!Kiss Slay Replay by Rachel Harrison!<

Sounds fun, I'm looking forward to this one!

> Hi Ilya,

>My name is Shane! I don’t speak Russian, I hope that’s okay. I’m also 25 years old and I love hockey too! So we have some things in common.

>I’ve never written an inmate before. I don’t really know why I’m doing this. I guess I’m lonely. I’m not very good at making friends or dating. I think maybe I can be a bit awkward in person, but I’m good at writing. So I hope that’s okay.

Gimme ALL the special features!! Deleted scenes? Blooper reels? I'm salivating!

People have pointed out that François's name is misspelled on the back cover, so hopefully they fix that before release.

Is it odd that only US stores seem to have it for preorder? Yes, yes it does seem odd. I did a bit of research and it would appear that the distributor, Alliance Home Entertainment, holds the North American physical media rights, but the immediate rollout was heavily prioritized through U.S. retail channels, so that's why Amazon US and Walmart were the first to have stock listings. Alliance confirmed it by posting to their IG Stories back when the listing first appeared on Amazon.

Edit: Now confirmed by the HR global account, with preorders being available in the US and Canada: https://www.instagram.com/p/DcLq-dSkSUm/?igsh=Mm9tNzRwbWt4ODJs

My Cat Peanut and Broox have arrived from Nordstrom!

Incidentally I placed the exact same order with Jellycat USA during early access (which I only did because I wasn't sure how well stocked they were going to be, and whether Cat Peanut would be available in stores). I ordered with Nordstrom the day after and got it today, whereas my direct JC order isn't supposed to arrive until Monday. Got free shipping with both (I had to add a Fergus bag charm to the JC order to meet their minimum; Nordstrom has no minimum).

I'm happy with the look of the Jellies from Nordstrom; I seem to have better luck with them than ordering directly from JC.

Common guess seems to be >!A Ship of Bones and Teeth by Karina Halle!<.

It's not signed because it's TBB edition, but I've been on the hunt for this design for a while and nearly caved getting on Mercari several times. Also thought about getting Goldsboro's edition even though I don't like it as much. (I do also have PS Publishing's edition on order.) Then a hero on this sub mentioned when it was in the Infirmary, and I was able to grab it. 🥹

As has been the experience of others who've purchased from the Infirmary, mine arrived with barely noticeable imperfections... Some spots on the bottom edge and some corner fading on the dust jacket. (I've noted in pics with yellow arrows.) These are all I can see of why the book was listed as slightly damaged... But tbh if I'd received the book like this purchasing from Dragon's Hoard rather than Infirmary I wouldn't have thought much of it.

Oh and neat surprise - what I didn't know from only seeing pics online is that the scales on the cover are lightly textured. Cool tactile feature, I love it.

I was so torn about ordering this because I've been trying not to get too many copies of the same book, but I just liked it so much. I'm glad I eventually caved, because the author has said that currently there are no plans to restock it, even for in store on release day. I don't know how many people were hoping for that vs getting secondhand, but fyi.

In case anyone is looking for her, I just noticed she's available at Crate & Barrel.

I got her on the US JC site not that long ago and I'm surprised that the product page for this bunny has already been removed entirely (rather than keeping it up and having it say retired, for example).

I'm kind of obsessed with enamel pins and I have quite a few Hollanov ones from small indie artists (with more coming!). This one is the latest and I just think it's the cuuuutest! From Valkyrie Pins on IG (I'm sorry I believe they are sold out though).
