After 100%ing 3, I decided to >!emulate!< 5 due to there being a 60fps cheat and HD texture pack. I gotta say, being able to speed up the infamous load times makes the game just as good as 2 and 3 in my opinion, and there's so many connections to 1 that it serves as a great prequel if you want to play them in chronological order. I liked the nobility aspect showing that there were both good and bad things about it, though the whole "senate" plotline felt super thin compared to saving your sister from a political marriage or taking back the Sun Rune.

Some people seem to not like the prince character, I thought he was cool simply due to the amount of duels you have him do throughout the game, they really wanted to show you how much motion capture they used lol

[Spoiler part] One aspect I'm not a fan of for this game and other suikoden games are the amount of "mysterious" characters such as Jeane, Zerase, Eresh, Yuber (who's not in V) who all have the same story of "popping out of nowhere and disappearing when it's over", I'm probably overthinking their connection to the overall plot, but it just makes me wonder if they will tackle the more mysterious things about Suikoden in the new mobile game star leap.
