When using another man's setup...

Stopped by a friend's house ( u/JeremyJava ) for a latte art lesson, adjusted his machine's brew pressure, and poured this fun bevy. Pouring on someone else's machine is like riding someone else's bike. Now to decide whether to get a WPM pitcher to add to the roster 🤔

Wasn't expecting the base to get back on track after being twisted off-axis at the beginning, but I'm really glad it did 🙂🙃🙂
Traveling...used my hand pump Picopresso espresso maker and the side burner of a BBQ grill to heat the water and milk, frothing with the Lunafro Art hand wand.
Arguably my cleanest base ever, but that cut-through 😝😝😝
...wearing my emotions on my left hand 😋
I once had an art teacher who said if I am too afraid to ruin a piece, I will never create real art.
The last 3 guest hosting experiences have been negative. One had some minor spills/stains, which, although aren't outside the realm of 'expected', are nice to find out about before they set in more permanently. The second of the three was quite scary, with a fight breaking out between guests and after 3 hours of me intervening between 2am-5am to tey and ease tensions, me having to call a guest an Uber to transport her to a hotel separate from her friend group for the night. The most recent was a Bachelorette party that taped decorations to the walls (left tape behind and some paint peeling) and violated my 'No Glitter' policy, despite being reminded about it at the time of booking over a month ago.
My question is: How much do you chalk up to the inevitability of opening your space to guests, and what is the threshold to write about in reviews, contact support about, and/or reach out to the guest directly? For clarity, the domestic assault guest stay was reported to AirBnB support, and I had a follow-up call with the guest responsible for that stay re: direct compensation for costs/damages associated with their fight.
Mixed greens, arugula, red onion, cucumber, sliced strawberries, sliced mozzarella, crushed walnuts, basil, smoked brisket, crispy fried shallots, strawberry balsamic dressing.
Delicious 😋
I love it when crooked fixes itself with the cut-through 🙏🏻
I don't mind having some milk leftover in my pitcher. Doesn't prevent me from getting close to the surface and ensures I have only prime-textured milk to work with when pouring my pattern. Home user, so not a scalable workplace problem. No milk wasted as latte refills are not only welcome, but preferred, as I enjoy my morning bev. 🫗
It's asparagus season, and we picked a bunch. Lots of fresh basil, red bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, red onion, sliced ciliegine mozzarella, blanched asparagus, lemon oregano grilled chicken, creamy balsamic vinaigrette, served over brown rice. 🙂
Playing around with smaller cup and steaming in a smaller pitcher. LOVE LOVE LOVE the flow on this one but had to do a double-take to finish the heart.
Found these 200ml German cups at a thrift store yesterday and figured I should work on my flat white game. Smaller cup with more concentrated espresso lends itself to drift base practice as well 😃
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a little dribbly at the end, I know. 😝
