Hello everyone, i'm having a weird issue with my qbittorrent setup.

I'm running version 5.2 on W10 IOT LTSC, no VPN, behind properly configured double-NAT on custom routers.

For almost 2 years now, i've been maintaining a steady 20-40 MB/S upload rate on my client. But suddenly, in the last few weeks, my upload speeds have been terrible, like divided by 4/8 depending on the time of day and number of people on the network.

I've done some testing and found a weird behaviour. When i open my client, upload speeds are as fast as they've been for the past 2 years, but, after something like 30 minutes, they drop HARD. This is how my speed graph looks like :

And as soon as that drop hits, upload speed does not go back up and stays roughly at 4 MB/S.

I've tried to tweak all sorts of settings in my routers and in the qbittorrent client, but anything i tried made no difference, and i can't see why speeds would suddenly, and constantly drop like this.

Does anybody have a clue on how i would be able to solve this ?

TIA.

IO Error : Errored: Used to indicate that an operation cannot continue without blocking for I/O

Running Version 5.2 on windows x64

I have been having the following error on some big torrents lately :

Errored: Used to indicate that an operation cannot continue without blocking for I/O

I've looked around, and the only trace of it, is an ancient github issue that has not been solved.

Does anyone know a solution for this ? I have checked the obvious regarding I/O errors like the available space and folder permissions. It works fine for 99% of my other torrents, in the same folder.

All the transformers in my house hum.

Hello.

Every device in my house that has a medium - large transformer (Roughly any device that outputs <50w, and has a proper transformer) hums. This includes

- Large 12v/24v PSUs / PC PSUs

- Audio amplifier transformers. (Old and Brand new, laminated and torroidal)

- laptop chargers

I have read online that most of the time, this is due to DC current from stuff like LED lighting being on the same circuit as the outlets and getting into the AC line, but i checked, and at my panel, they're all separate.

The hum from some of my audio amplifiers for example can be heard 2 rooms away, it's this bad. It' clearly not what the device is supposed to be like.

I tried some of said devices at a friend's place, and none made noise like this. I have ordered a cheap DC blocker circuit i'm going to wire up to test things out, but i'd really like to know how i could solve this issue for good. Looking on specific forums for the noisy devices, people all give vague info and no proper solution / diagnostic.

Thanks in advance for any clue, happy to give out info if needed.

P.S, I'm located in Europe, in a house built around 2006.

I've been slowly getting some gear to get some external power amplification going in my setup.

I've now got an issue that i did not think would be that bad, but kinda is. My AVR only has unbalanced pre-out, and the power amps i got only have balanced ins.

For now, i'm just running passive RCA to TS cables to my AVRto the Power amp. To get acceptable volume, i need to set the amp's attenuation knobs to nearly none, and the signal input meters don't even light up at max volume on my AVR. So that amp clearly needs a hotter signal. I've looked for some solution and 2 main ways seem to pop up a lot :

- Getting a proper AV Pre/Pro

- Using external signal amplification and/or DI Boxes.

I've looked around for AV Preamps, and they're all too expensive for me. The only model that could fit my needs would be a Denon DN500AV, but that doesn't have dedicated 7.1 inputs which i need. (I don't need anything beyond 1080p60 as for video, I'm more interested in the audio parts of the gear)

Now for the DI Boxes, i can find 4/8 channel Behringer Ultra-DIs for really cheap second hand, and i could keep my current AVR which is still working just fine and does everything i need.

So, does anyone here have experience with such a setup ? Before i pull the trigger on the thing and the cables to go with it, i want to be sure that it works.

Thanks.
