Linking directly to a PDF on part numbers in epicor

i work in engineering. My company has an enormous inventory of production drawings that we attach to our part numbers in the system. under our old system, these drawings could be saved as live links, so that no matter how many times we edited a PDF, the system always pointed at the most up-to-date version without any further work. When we switched to Epicor, we were told that this wasn't possible. It's multiplied my maintenance work by many man-hours, as the way we have it set up at the moment, every time I udpate a drawing, i have to delete the one uploaded to the part and reupload the updated version. There MUST be a better way, please tell me there is and how I can convince my IT folks to implement it.

Carrier hangar with the side shelf for the Assault. You can just barely see the cargo container between the carrier's tail sections in the floor.

There was a hole in my floor so I put a shield wall on it.

Unshielded \"hanging\" hangar underneath my base, for visitors and people sheltering from storms. I anted it to look like it was hanging from massive anchored chains.

Scout hangar, and the oldest part of the base inside an Ood'ham pillar cave.

Small tea corner, didn't get a pick of the furnishings up there.

Looking into the main base from the carrier hangar.

My current solo base in the Ood'ham. 6 total subfief blocks all in one horizontal pattern (there are NPC buildings below me so I couldnt expand in either direction vertically). I'm pretty happy with it.

Maintenance right after servers reopened

Did they really just take servers down again exactly an hour after the reset, with no in-game warnings? I was flying over the deep desert in a carrier with a container.

New user - how can I save a link?

My company has just switched to Epicor this year. Under our old system, we saved production part drawings as PDFs in our file system, and attached the part drawings as links into our old ERP system, so that when we updated drawings in our files, they were automatically up-to-date in the ERP system. As far as I can tell in Epicor, attaching a part drawing PDF is a manual thing, and I can't find a way to save a link to our files to keep the drawing "live" without having to delete the drawing and reupload it when it's been edited.

Does anyone know a way to create a link in Epicor to make a "live", automatically updating drawing?
