When you feel watched in the dark... Know a void is there. (Story time)

This little void entered my apartment complex and I almost didn't see her going down the stairs because the lighting is a little dark on the stairway. Anyway, I managed to secure and contain the void and find a her some slaves to rule over. I hope this pleases the CDS gods.

Ajutor pisica salbatica Brasov

Aveti idee pe cine as putea contacta in Brasov?

Update 2 : E sanatoasa, deparazitata si are deja un doritor, tineti-i pumnii. 🖤🤞

Little feral void

This little feral void bolted it into my apartment when I went out to do my nightly walk. Any idea how I can help them? I've been speaking softly to them and they're starting to trust me enough to lick some Churu from the packet when I extend it to them, but they're very scared. I wonder if I could tame them enough to be adopted, or at least to get them sterilized since they're here anyway...

Tips for a new grad?

I got offered a position in sterile processing as a new grad nurse, I should be getting my diploma in September and start very soon afterwards. :) Tomorrow I'm going to see what a day of work is like, any red flags I should be looking out for? And anything I should revise before tomorrow that might be helpful to know so that I understand everything better? Thank you for welcoming me into your field. 🫶

Sketchy cat "sanctuary"?

I want you guys to tell me what you think of this cat "sanctuary" that's operating in my city, and I put "sanctuary" in quotations because to me, it just seems like sugarcoated animal hoarding.

The place is run by a married couple out of their own salaries + donations. They have 50+ cats that they take care of by themselves, they currently have no volunteers, although I'm going there to help them tomorrow. They seem overwhelmed, have a couple of medically complex cats, but also some completely adoptable cats, including kittens, that they do not plan to find homes for. They don't have much social media presence outside of Tiktok, where they do get a couple hundred views per video. My concern is that to me, this just looks like animal hoarding and a disaster waiting to happen. They are already in debt and I'm honestly a little concerned for the cats. Should I talk to them about it tomorrow? How should I bring it up?

Update on little Artemis: We adopted a sister for her! Meet Freya.

We kept them in quarantine in their own rooms for a week just to be safe, but today they could finally meet each other! It was love at first sight. :) And it was amazing to see how much calmer both Artemis and Freya are now that they have a play buddy!

The story about Freya is that a stray cat had her litter in someone's barn, and since the person couldn't keep them, they made a post looking for homes for them. Here comes me, who saw the post and instantly fell in love with this little calico. I'm so glad Artemis seems to love her just as much!

The two stages of kitty - 3 weeks vs 6 weeks.

The fragile neonate I rescued is growing into a hyperactive kitten and I couldn't be happier about it. ❤️ 2nd pic was her kekeke-ing at a toy, by the way. :))

Sent my boyfriend out for groceries and told him to get whatever... Meet whatever.

Her name's actually Artemis, I've been bottle feeding this cotton ball for 3 weeks now. She's slowly starting to wean.

The full story is that when my boyfriend left the supermarket, he noticed someone in the parking lot was taking a kitten out from... somewhere near the engine, I think? He's the mechanic, not me, lmao. Anyway, they weren't from the city and just stopped at the supermarket briefly to get something to eat on the road and since reuniting the kitten with her mom sounded impossible and the person who took her out didn't want her, my boyfriend decided to bring her home. He just called me to ask "Is taking care of a really small kitten hard?", not IF we could adopt her, he knew I'd be excited about it. 🤣
