My father-in-law wants to extend his Orbi system to his guest house. Are there any particular satellite models to avoid? I know the RBS10 is a bit quirky, only being 2 banded.

I did pick up a RBS40V just to play with.

Edit: Incidentally, this is behind a different, new router, so I'm not too concerned about security.

RBS40V not RBR40V. It looks like an okay wifi speaker with native extender mode which I could have some use for in case he wants to go another way.

We got some press release last December and it's been pretty quiet in English language media. So, any updates on this project from local media?

Any local opposition to the project considering what's happening in Costa Maya? It looks like it shouldn't have nearly as much environmental impact as it's just developing unused land at the harbor. Yet, I wonder about water resources to supply the water park portion.

Same body as the TurboCord Dual right down to the recess for the adapter in the plug face. And no, the 240 adapter doesn't work; you just get a blinking red light. The 240V only TurboCord did the same thing plugging it into 120V.

The small coupler is kinda cute and fits okay.

10 Ft . is not enough. Can't get it around the front of my Bolt. You save a pound of weight, but at great cost. The old cords were 20Ft./6m.

Don't get it, unless your port is right next to your receptacle. To limitted for general use.

Looks like the import charges into the US went from +50% to +30% now. Prices the Amazon US also shows about a decrease of about a quarter. You can get a Fujitora 240mm gyuto (FU-809) for US$99.58 now.
