Best areas to live in Kuala Lumpur as an expat (MM2H) – Desa ParkCity vs KLCC vs Ampang?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering moving to Kuala Lumpur under the MM2H program and I’m trying to decide which area would be best for long-term living as an expat.

At the moment I’m looking at:

- Desa ParkCity (Park Place)

- KLCC (The Troika area)

- Ampang

My priorities are:

- safety and security

- comfortable daily living

- clean and well-maintained environment

- good access to hospitals and services

- expat-friendly community

- fully furnished condo options

I would really appreciate honest advice from people living in KL:

- Which area is the most practical for everyday life?

- Is KLCC actually comfortable to live in or more for lifestyle/short stays?

- Is Desa ParkCity worth the higher prices?

- Any specific condo buildings you would recommend or avoid?

Thanks a lot for any insights 🙂

At what stage of a relationship should you get married?

At what stage of a relationship should you get married?Whether you met through blind dates or your own social circle, at what point do you decide to get married? Was there a moment when you thought to yourself, "Actually, it wouldn't be so bad to build a life with this person"?

Hi! Is anyone going to the water festival in Bukit Bintang tonight or tomorrow? I'd love to join a group or start a small meetup there. If you're into EDM/water fights, hit me up!"
