Abraxas is said to be the Great Archon over 365 heavens, whose name not only under the Gnostic system mathematically works out to 365, but is also spelled with the seven letters representing the seven classical planets.
While Saturn’s astrological symbol consists of a ram’s horn accompanied by a Christian or Latin cross — bringing to mind the “holy ram” Amun in Egyptian religion — Jupiter’s astrological symbol appears to be its polar opposite. It reverses Saturn’s symbol, resembling a goat’s horn accompanied by an inverted cross (as shown below).
