How does it work?

How does child support work? I have almost 50% custody of my child. I believe it comes out to like 47%. Why would I have to pay someone who has the child equal time as me? In Texas it's 20% of your income. I feel like I should only be paying for the time that she has my daughter more than I do which would be 3%. So if you divided 20% I'm paying into how many days 1 parent would get with 50/50 custody I feel i should only be paying for the 3% that the mother has our child more than I do. I've heard that the way court bases child support off of is who the breadwinner is. For instance if the mother made more money than me then I could be the one actually receiving the child support. That the court sees it that way because they're trying to have the child live financially the same as the other parent does. Is that true? The mother just got a job as a teacher which they get paid pretty handsomely these days, not to mention the mother lives with her family rent free, they pay for most her bills and her family is pretty wealthy. I have a lot more bills I have to pay including my own house not. They are definitely better off than I am and get our child a lot more than I could and yet I still am the one paying child support. Its pretty lopsided.

Fukushu kumquat tips

Houston TX

I've had a fukushu kumquat for 7 months now. Was about 1 foot when I got her and now she's probably 2 foot. She's been growing wonderfully with little management besides watering regularly. I put her in a pot with a mixture of really good soil, perlite and leca balls. I saw zero root shock and she just started growing wonderfully. She already has a bunch of fruiting going on. A bunch of little fruit nubs. Mostly green a couple yellow. Would I get a small Harvest before it freezes? And should I be feeding it with some citrus plant food to help the fruit?

Child Alienation/Conflict of Loyalty

Standard Possession Order

6yo child

Not a good co parenting relationship

My child out of the blue refuses to come to my house, had a meltdown kicking, screaming, biting, unbuckled and ran back inside my parents house. Never seen this behavior before. I do believe my work schedule and home changes plays a part, But that's not why she just all of a sudden wont come to my house. This is from years of child alienation that finally made it's way out. It had never really been a problem in the past whatsoever until now. After speaking to my daughter and getting some answers from her it's now very apparent that the mother has been doing some form of child manipulation. Telling our daughter that she does not have to like me, encouraging our daughter that she can stay at grandma's house and that she doesn't have to stay at my house, talking about the court paperwork how I broke it for moving to the country outside the orders, which I did not, she also said that she is telling her that she is afraid and has anxiety before dropping off my daughter to my house. In which we already knew something was going on with that for years now because every time we picked her up we could tell her and her mom were feeding energy into my child and coddling her to make the pick ups not go very smoothly. The mother admitted all these things are true and she has been telling our daughter these things. The mom and the grandmother are sick people. I don't know why you would want to make your daughter cry and feel uncomfortable before going to another parent's house. The way the mom and grandma are doing this stuff though I feel like technically isn't breaking any family laws because telling a daughter you feel some type of way before pickups or saying they don't have to like Daddy may not be considered parental alienation but at the same token it is and it's quite obvious what they are doing. Has anyone ever been in a situation like this? What can be done or is there any assistance I can get to help? My thoughts was getting the mother, my child and I evaluated individually and then doing what the dr recommends. My fear is that the mother won't change and for every step I take forward the mother will be in the background forcing 2 steps back.

Edit- since redditors want more backstory- I've been to court twice with this woman now and the first time went semi smooth. I ended up getting what I wanted which was an expanded Standard Possession Order. The second time she took me to court and opened up a CPS case for bogus allegations... sexual child abuse, physical child abuse, child manipulation and child alienation. All out ruled and she withdrew from court.
