Bought 40k worth of ORCL during the February and March lows. Had a DCA of around $146.

When the stock peaked back in early June, I was up around 20k and now I lost it all due to their announcement of increasing debt.

I had a gut feeling to buy protective puts during their recent ATHs but I thought it would keep going up.

Now I’m back to square one with no gains and minor losses now, lol.

ive come to the realization that connections are the only thing that matter in this world, and I dont have any. To make matters worse, I’m extremely ugly and short.

I’m fucked.

im fucked professionally, and socially.

I’ve never been able to get jobs that paid above minimum wage despite pursuing higher education and putting my best foot forward at “networking” or whatever. I also had a gpa north of 3.5, so it’s not like I didn’t take my studies seriously or anything. It got me nowhere. Meanwhile, I saw other students landing world class internships that someone like me could only dream of having. They had extensive social circles (greek life) and were able to truly experience the stereotypical “college experience” that many of us see in the Hollywood, mainstream western media.

After I graduated, I got to see my better looking and more socially connected counterparts flourish and truly get to experience life. High paying corporate jobs, a cushy “job” in the family business, vacations to Europe with many friends, relationships, startups with family money, partying, etc. The list goes on and on.

Meanwhile my short and ugly ass never got to experience what it was truly like to be a human. My twenties were wasted away in low wage jobs just scraping by making pennies on the dollar, while also getting to see other people my age absolutely flourish in their lives.

Any scraps I was able to accumulate at my job was then spent on rent, utilities bills and food.

Im just tired man.
