I genuinely think Marquise might be one of HYBE x Geffen’s biggest losses
After seeing Marquise’s solo debut with « Dontneedyouanymore » I honestly think HYBE x Geffen may have let one of their strongest trainees go.
She made it all the way to the Top 10 in Dream Academy, consistently delivered solid performances, and had one of the most versatile stage presences on the show. A lot of people thought she was a lock for the final lineup.
What really stood out to me is how perfectly her solo concept fits her. It feels so natural, elegant, confident, slightly mysterious, and it really brings out her charisma in a way that suits her so much. It doesn’t feel forced at all, it feels like she finally found the style she was meant to do.
Honestly, debuting as a soloist seems to suit her much more than debuting in a group like Saint Satine. She has a presence that naturally draws your attention, and her solo concept really lets her individuality shine.
This isn’t hate toward KATSEYE, I love the group and the girls. But seeing Marquise now really makes me wonder what she could’ve become with another year under HYBE.
