329 geofencing indoor parking

Apparently GPS gets blocked when I’m parked in my detached garage. I geofenced for the location just outside and it worked for a while. Now I see it’s constantly recording when I’m parked inside. The geofencing is set for 50 meter range, so it’s not too far away. I’ve got the official Viofo 500 go sd card, so I haven’t been too concerned. Still, all this unnecessary recording is going to prematurely wear it out, so is this something I can fix?

Photofusion Burgundy /w DVG and Transitions Ruby

For those interested in seeing Photofusion Burgundy side by side with Transitions Ruby. The Burgundy I got with Duravision Gold for ease of cleaning and that subtle flash mirror effect. I just got it, so the UV activation is still not 100%.

The Transitions Ruby is almost 6 months old, with the default AR coating.

The frames are identical and you can probably tell the Ruby lenses are heavy RX (-9 !!) and high index. The Burgundy are Plano in CR-39 and quite light in weight. Looking through them, it feels like the burgundy is warmer (as previously noted by members here).

If you have any questions or want better comparison shots, feel free to ask!

Zeiss “blue guard” built into all Clearview lenses? Or is it a part of duravision gold?

I didn’t ask for blue guard, but I see on my Zeiss lens packet that blue guard is listed. I know a lot of blue blocking treatments leave the lens with a yellow tint, so is this where DVG gets its “golden” look? Or does it come standard with Clearview or photofusion x?

Photofusion X Burgundy with Duravision Gold in Plano Clearview 1.5 index

Thanks to some insights shared by community members here, I went ahead and got the non prescription in Clearview 1.5 index CR-39 for this setup to wear when I’m using contacts.

It’s seriously clear and thin! The cost is just over 300 USD, and I think it’s the best option for me outside of glass sunglasses.

However, I really should have asked the optician to measure my PD, because risking decentralization on a Clearview lens even if Plano feels like I’m leaving some benefits of this technology on the table.

Should I go back and ask them to redo it? I’m assuming Zeiss won’t charge the optician for a redo, but is it really worth the trouble?
