Form 4 or not…

I figured I would share my experience to hopefully help some of y’all out.

I ordered some suppressors on Aug 13th. I got the email that these are not NFA items.

Got a follow up email on Aug 15 saying they needed more info. I called and chose a call back after hearing that I was 500 and something in line.

Got a call back today and was told that the email is because the local gun store is still doing form 4s. I need to find a gun store doing 4473s and then call back and update.

Shop for deals

I have been looking and shopping for a bronco now for a while and I figured I would share my experience. I have seen some other posts about what folks are paying so here is another data point. I live in the Phoenix area and was looking for a hard top big bend with the black diamond package. My local dealer had a 25 still on the lot but they would not get close to where I wanted to be out the door. MSRP on the package was 52 ish and the best they could do was 52 otd.

I started to look out of state and found one in Fargo North Dakota that had the exact spec I was looking for at Luther Family Ford (sales guy was named Carson G.). The advertised price was 43k plus fees. I called them and they are a no haggle dealer. I started the process and on Friday my wife and I flew to Fargo to drive her new bronco home. When I showed up the finance manager told me that there was another thousand dollar rebate for az residents and the total price was 46k otd. This included the window tint and hood deflector. I paid for the light bar and installation via a credit card....

Be willing to go out side of your local area and you can still find some really good deals.

The sales guy picked us up from the airport and we had the deal wrapped up and we're headed home in about an hour and a half. He helped me through the process and coordinated the installation of any accessories I wanted before our trip. (Window tint, hood deflector, light bar)

Flights to Fargo were 500. I figure the total cost of taking a week and driving it home will be about 2k. Be willing to travel and turn the buying experience into a summer vacation.

If you are wanting to do similar my advice is to go onto ford's website and search the 2025 inventory. I picked a location in the middle of the states and made the search radius, 750 miles. I picked the specs I wanted and then filtered priced by lowest to highest. Then click on each dealers hyperlink. This bronco on ford's website was 47k but once you clicked the link the dealers website included incentives and it was the 43k listing.
