Bosch 800 induction range dual Ring?

I’m looking at the Bosch 800 induction range and noticed that the center cooking zone has a visible split/dual-ring design in the layout diagram.

Does this mean the center burner is actually a dual-ring (or multi-zone) element, or is it just a single induction coil with different sensing zones?

Also, how does it behave with smaller pans (around 8 inches)? Does it limit activation to the inner zone, or does it always use the full 11-inch heating area regardless of pan size?

I couldn’t find a clear explanation in the spec sheets, so any real-world insight would be appreciated.

Not sure if it is worth to pay $500 more to upgrade to bosch 800 series induction range or just take the 500 one. Anyone used 500 induction range before? Any suggestions?

Need some suggestions to help me select induction range from below list

  1. Bosch 500 series: HIF5050MC

  2. GE profile: PCHS920YMFS

  3. KitchenAid: KSIS730PSS

The ge one is the cheapest and costs $2000 while other two cost $2500.
