Anyone know what happened on 152? Stuck at Menlo Park.

It sounded like we lost the air but something doesn’t seem right. :/

An Australian will be my direct supervisor once I start a new position at my hospital. Is there anything I should be aware of?

Hello upside down folks,

I am starting work with an Australian soon. They're going to be my direct supervisor. Is there anything I should be aware of?

For context, I am an American. I just want to be sensitive to any things that are touchy for Australians. For example 9/11 is a touchy one for Americans almost universally.

They're from QLD and have been in the states for a few years now but still have a thick Australian accent.

I'm all ears!

Thanks y'all.

After 11 000 miles and over nine months of ownership, I pulled my shipping blocks out!

You kind of have to feel for them or curb your wheels all the way to one side and then check. They’re real easy to take out if you just jack up the front of the car though.

We should maybe make a megathread for this issue because it’s SO COMMON!

Do we know why the dealers just skip/neglect/forget to remove them during the PDI? I would be more understanding if there *wasn’t* a sticker that said to remove them right on the windshield!

I guess it’s just maybe because it’s such a low volume car they don’t bother to pull up the instructions or something?

Oh also I’ve heard through the grapevine that the new plant in the U.K. is rumored to have as good—if not better—quality for the GRC. It sounded like Toyota wanted to keep these people employed at the plant and they decided to move GRC production over there to keep them employed. That’s something I really like about Toyota, they value their people. I’m definitely curious to see how the new cars come out but I believe the director of production for the company was also out there and it sounds like he was quite happy with what that plant is able to do. Fingers crossed!!

Wishing you all safe and enjoyable driving!

So this just popped up in my head: what do y’all do for footwear? Boots or sneakers or something else?

How does that work for you lot?

I personally am a big work boot fan (the waterproof type, like rain boots) and will wear my green boots out in public and everyone looks at me funny but they’re comfy and easy to clean so I say they can deal with it!

And as always, thank you for protecting the health of the nation, y’all are the front line against both environmental damage and pervasive and enduring illness.
