I'm helping build a database of emerging venture capital fund managers and am specifically looking for first-time managers who are currently raising their debut fund (Fund I).

I'm less interested in established firms and more interested in newer managers who are actively fundraising and building LP relationships.

Does anyone know of:

- Good databases or websites that track emerging managers?

- Newsletters that regularly cover first-time funds?

- LinkedIn accounts worth following for Fund I fundraising activity?

- Communities where new VC managers tend to announce fund launches?

What I’m looking for (Technical Co-Founder)

Strong builder who can independently turn ideas into working products (not just theory or planning)

Has previously built and shipped at least one product from scratch (startup, SaaS, app, or serious side project)

Experience building and shipping real apps (web or mobile)

Able to take a rough idea and break it into a functional MVP quickly

Comfortable working across full-stack (frontend, backend, databases, APIs) or equivalent strong depth in one area + ability to adapt

Fast execution mindset — prioritises shipping and iteration over perfection

Able to work in ambiguous environments without step-by-step instructions

Problem solver who can figure out technical solutions independently

Experience integrating APIs or AI tools is a plus

Has at least a few personal projects, GitHub work, or launched products

Strong interest in building consumer apps (bonus if interested in AI / food / recommendation systems)
