All advice welcome. No matter how much I eat, I’m struggling consistently with hunger pangs that make me feel like I’m starving. I’m excessively hungry during and after meals. This started last Tuesday (5/5).
I’m making sure to drink water and have now incorporated electrolytes after reading online, but still to no avail. I’m not so much thirsty as I am hungry.
It’s been over three days and I’m so frustrated, because it’s incredibly unlike me to be so hungry, and nothing is helping. I normally have a small appetite.
I thought it could be T1D but I’ve used a urine strip which has come back negative for glucose. Is there any chance this may not be accurate and that it still could be T1D?
Any advice/ideas appreciated. I’m at a loss, but it seems silly to go to the doctor. I don’t know if I’m being dramatic.
