Is it most likely a sackable offence? I have not done it im curious?

In season 2 when we get the flashback of Emily and her family trying to go to Canada in the Airport, the outside is absolutely crammed of people trying to go in and then just as busy inside.

I know it’s only 3 people in a country of 300 million people but when women’s bank accounts are frozen and they can’t own property anymore, Moria, luke and June who are already quite liberal people don’t seem as absolutely furious and terrified that I’d imagine most people would be which I think is meant to represent how like June says throughout the show they let Gilead happen, they didn’t fight back until it was too late. So, when do you think people began to flee en masse.

I personally feel like the second women couldn’t work anymore would have Canada and mexicos borders overran with Americans.
