For all tigriyna learners!!!

Theres this channel called Tigriyna academy, it’s a hidden gem and i urge everyone learning to visit the channel and the playlists. We don’t really have a lot of contents to learn from, so we should show support!!

Tigriyna handwriting

I need to see how a fluent native speaker writes ዪ, ዥ, ቻ, ቕ, ቖ, ም, ኝ, ኽ, እ. These fidelat are the hardest for me to write because of the calligraphic fonts. So i would like to see some natural simple writings. Please send pics.

What’s the historical evidence for queen saba existing or even having a son with solomon?

Any archeological finds?? I personally don’t believe it, i even convinced my mom to not believe it. There’s more evidence she’s yemenite than axumite. I’m guessing before we were christians n muslims we had a mixture of beliefs between Sabaenism n Judaism. This makes sense with the fact we have a lot of moon symbols (and the stone carvings on ezana suggest arab pagan beliefs) n the whole Old Testament laws thing. So i’m sure we were familiar with saba n solomon before the founding of Christianity in axum. however what i don’t get is how our people got fooled for generations by a guy named yekuno amlak. Why was it believed for so long despite no real evidence for this? And why are there so many things attributed to saba despite being made way after her existence.

How common is straight/loose wavy hair in tigray?

My mom’s paternal side of the family has straight to wavy hair, I’m wondering how rare this is? And how is that possible considering we are black?

For context i see multiple videos about jewish Israelis mistreating Arab Israelis , ethiopian jews etc. but still majority of Arab/ethiopian jew Israelis i’ve seen are zionistic or support Israel to some capacity. With all the scapegoating and propaganda going on how do these minorities stay with these beliefs, and not take the easy way out and blame jewish Israelis? Are Israelis in Israel naturally very nationalistic including minorities? Is nationalism a huge thing in Israel?(where i live being nationalistic is looked down upon, so how is it in Israel?) Do these minorities not have biases towards ‘their group’ of people? Just food for thought. I’ve been curious about this, i’m glad to see other ethiopian jews not falling for the propaganda to hate Israel.

Question to anyone that lives currently or traveled to Tigray mekelle. Where can i buy language learning Tigrinya materials in Tigray, i want to buy beginner to advanced books (grammar/vocabulary/reading practice/dictionary/audio lessons) sometime this year during summer when i visit for the first time in years. I’m not sure if it’s possible to even buy these books in Tigray(Just cuz Tigrinya is usually taught in school by teachers) Also if you’ve already bought a book in Tigray or seen some of these books, are they all entirely in Tigrinya?? I don’t mind if the book is entirely in Tigrinya. Also does it have lots of workbook lessons for practice(very preferred).
Also if you’ve taken Tigrinya lessons in Tigray how was the experience?
Sorry for bombarding you with questions; I’m just really curious.
