How to verify if a source is authentic and accurate?

I made a post awhile ago asking what steps to take to get vaccinated, as my family is antivax. I think I know the next steps to take, so that’s no longer an issue.

However what is an issue is the inevitable conflict that will occur if and when I do get vaccinated. I talked to my dad about it, who is most open minded and accepting of me getting vaccinated (thankfully, if he wasn’t this situation would be 10x worse than it is already).

During the conversation, my dad expressed his concerns and reservations:

He warned me of bias in studies, saying that corners get cut, and other manipulatory tactics can be used (which is fair and reasonable)

He wanted me to be aware of the risks (which is also fair and reasonable)

He wanted me to do more research on the safety and other aspects of vaccines (which I think is also fair).

I’m going to do that, but one thing is im not quite sure how to ensure what I’m reading is reliable and accurate, especially something like vaccines which are healthcare but also political in some aspects unfortunately.

What can I do to ensure studies, sources and other forms of information are as unbiased as possible and reliable? I don’t want to just get vaccinated without knowing the facts about them.

How do you move forward when there are so many problems that compound on each other?

I have spent a lot of time trying to keep myself moving forward, but i feel like i have many issues that just make it feel impossible.

I wont go into too much detail as to not make this post super long, but some include:

Social ineptitude (I get overwhelmed by how much information you have to process, while making your own response, and meeting their expectations by performing well. This results in inconsistent speech, poor articulation, anxiety, and afterword's a very poor self perception which makes future interactions worse)

Intolerance of distress (Negative emotions feel physically intolerable. Adrenaline in specific contexts makes me want to crawl out of my skin. This compounds when socializing making it so much worse)

Many learned behaviors and beliefs (Learned helplessness, a severe inferiority complex, fear of conflict)

Inconsistent performance (Executive dysfunction, state dependent confidence, over reliance on motivation, difficulty with discipline)

There are more but these are just a few examples.

In person I struggle to articulate myself in many situations. I used google docs to better explain these things and others in more depth so i can remember and understand them better.

My issue is I'm unsure how to deal with those while the others constantly affect me? Trying to fix multiple at once isn't smart, but trying to isolate doesn't seem to work for me. My friends and my therapist only gives advice that isolates the issues, and the advice is not bad, it just doesn't seem to make me able to be consistent.

I want to change, I want to fix myself, and I've made a few positive fixes but nowhere near enough to see progress. What am I supposed to do?

How to go about getting vaccinated?

I’m 19, and was born in a family that is antivax. As a result I have no vaccines. However I’m not so sure I agree with their views anymore and I want to make a decision that’s mine and as educated as I can.

I’ve decided that I’m likely going to get vaccinated, though I’m unsure how to go about it. Other than being in an antivax family, I have struggles with depression and anxiety that has made it very hard to actually just go get it done so I don’t have to worry, and I do kind of fear my parents reactions (moreso my mom, my dad knows and he’s neutral on it. Says it’s my choice though he says not to go into it too quickly).

What’s the best way to go about it? Slow like my dad suggests or quickly? What are statistics and such? I know serious side effects aren’t common but I still have anxiety about it.

I appreciate any help and advice

Skin care

I’m 19m, and for my entire life I’ve never really had the best hygiene past very basic practices like showering daily and brushing teeth before bed. I’m slowly trying to change that

One area I don’t really know what to do in is skin care. I have black heads all over my face, specifically on my nose, between my eyes, under both eyes, forehead, both temples and around my mouth. I also have really bad back acne and blackheads.

I’m not looking to be perfect or anything, just so it looks like I actually put effort into taking care of my skin.

What products should I use, and how and when should I apply them?

ive tried using both ice breakers and the wither sting, and i cant reliably kill this thing

for the ice breakers i used sleek orb weaver armor, the blue butterfly trinket (probably not optimal), my lil peep is maxed, sizzle protection, coup de gras, and it was just miserable. i got a good hit but it put it into phase 2 and constantly took damage from sizzle once it built up. i didnt even finish the fight because i would have just eaten so many granola bars

for the wither sting i used sleek serpent armor, the bale trinket, whittle wizard is maxed, and the other mutations i listed before. i killed him once using this build and it was not nearly as reliable as i saw it being for the youtubers i watched showing this build. they talked about killing him before sizzle became an issue but i just ended up eating like 10-20 granola bars, not reliable at all.

am i missing something? is there a better build? im fairly good at dodging his swipes and the rock falling attack, his triple bite catches me off guard because theres no wind up it feels but its not terrible, i can perfect block the second and third bite, his eye attack isnt an issue, his tongue attack does get me sometimes but his moveset isnt bad its just i cant kill him quick enough before sizzle just makes me guzzle granola bars.
