Seeking advice on how to master side log hops

I just learned these this week and was wondering if anyone has advice on doing these every time. Sometimes I get a good one but most of the time it ends up too far from the log or in an awkward spot

Do I have a problem?

Pushed this thing half a mile through the woods in 98° heat after running out of gas. While I’m on vacation, he’s earned the climate-controlled dining room suite.

Marketplace bike being given a glow up

New to me 2021 KTM 125sx is being given the works. Full bottom and top end rebuild, fly wheel weight, rebuild forks and shocks, larger sprockets, 150cc piston / jug along with a nice lube job. Closest I’ll ever have been to owning a new bike once done. Still $5,000 cheaper than buying brand new all in.
