Fidelity will be phasing out ATP

So, from what I hear, Active Trader Pro will be replaced by Fidelity Desktop+ within a year. Sure, ATP is buggy and crashes frequently, but it has a variety of features that FD+ does not. And Fidelity says that it likely won't, ever. Many of these features pertain to options trading. ATP has a very nice options trade calculator with graphical output along with tables of the Greeks and other useful things, and volatility and time inputs, etc.. FD+ does not, and Fidelity basically told me to piss off when I told them that that was a necessary feature.

I need to move to a different broker whose trading software caters to stock and option traders both. Suggestions???? Help????

Fidelity Desktop Trader+

Well, I have been using ATP for about 7 years. It has always been buggy (takes minutes to show new positions, sometimes a new option shows up in the investment list with a totally random P/L, etc., etc.) but over the years it has been crashing more and more frequently. It's now up to about 10 times/day. I am an active trader (so, Active Trader Pro, right?), and this is ridiculous. I have called them half a dozen times over the years, and their solution is always to upgrade the memory in my computer. I've gone from 16 Gb to 32 Gb, and nothing has changed.

So, they are pushing their new Fidelity Desktop Trader+. If I have to learn a new platform, I want it to have all of the features that I have been using on ATP. One of my favorite tools on ATP is the graphical options P/L calculator. It is pretty powerful, and you can change the values of most anything that matters. Guess what? IT ISN'T A PART OF DESKTOP TRADER+. And they have no plans to add it.

If I have to learn a new piece of trading software, I want it to have a P/L calculator as good or better than ATP's!

I am mainly venting, but if anyone has a suggestion (like another broker's software!) I'd love to hear it.

Tl:dr For options traders ATP sucks, and Desktop Trader+ sucks worse. Help?
