Who else has faced this demon?
My 2016 Kia Soul seemed to be running okay. I had replaced the cat on it about two months prior. I suddenly got a flashing engine light. No low oil as I had just did that two weeks prior. No odd noise, seemed to be running okay. Google said this was a knock sensor picking up engine knock or similar or possibly a knock sensor failure. Dealership said I am still under the 150k engine warranty but it’s going to be two weeks before they can even diagnose it. About to start a new job. Need the car. They floated a loaner being possible and I hoping that is free. Has anyone else gone down this rabbit hole?
