Any smokers on tirzepatide?

I know a side effect of quitting smoking is constipation, which is also a side effect of any GLP-1. I am worried about this, as I still smoke weed and cigs (but have cut back significantly). I have been using patch intermittently to slowly taper off cigs and edibles to cut back on smoking weed daily. I can already feel my digestion slowing down bc of this. Does anyone smoke while taking tirzepatide? If so, does it impact digestion or stay the same? Also, has anyone quit smoking weed or tobacco prior to taking tirzepatide? If so, were there severe constipation/digestive issues that ensued and how did you overcome it? This is probably my biggest hang up on taking the meds. Constipation is honestly something I hate dealing with bc I’m usually regular. It just makes me feel depressed for some reason and not normal lol

Contemplating taking tirzepatide but too scared

Hi everyone!! I am a 32F and have gained almost 30 lbs back over the course of the year. I was raw vegan last year after dealing with severe constipation from smoking cessation (weed and cigarettes) The weight fell off me just like that🫰🏽but fell off routine after sold house with fiance and had to move in with friends and family until we found our new house. Started smoking again as well (weed and cigarettes). So fastforward to now, I’ve gained back most of the weight I’ve lost from being on restrictive diet. My self esteem is at an all time low. It’s hot AF outside but I’m stuck wearing baggy clothes and hoodies to hide my weight gain. I impulsively found a provider that sells glp1 shots and surprisingly got approved. Told my doc, said I can take them if I want but he doesn’t think I need them. So, I have shots that I haven’t used and I’m contemplating on taking them bc I just feel so out of control. But my fiancé and sister (who is super close to me) don’t think I need it and are adamant that they believe I can lose the weight myself. I also have occasional GERD/acid reflux flare ups so that’s another reason why I’m ambivalent. I just need opinions and advice right now. I’m so tired and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. It’s spilling into every aspect of my life: work, sex life with fiance, avoiding seeing friends and family I haven’t seen in a long time for fear of judgment. Please go easy on me, I’m in a very fragile state of mind.
