Hello - we are travelling to Vieques in two weeks and looking for reputable tour companies. What do you recommend?? We would like ideas on what to do - so far we are thinking the bio bay, snorkeling, culebra, getting sea glass, eating delish puerto rican food, anything else that is a must do??

Is this a good deal? MSRP is $57,610. They're giving me $5,500 off the MSRP (dealer incentive, coupon and costco incentive) so I get it for $52,060. But then I have to pay taxes, doc fee and registration. That brings the price up to $56,837.

It has mostly everything I want. It doesn't have the safety sphere but not sure what a big deal that is. When I asked for a better price he offered 1.9% for 48 months. Any thoughts?

Thank you all for all your helpful comments on my last post! I'm new at this so not sure if I should post my questions on the last post or here, so I'm doing a new post for other newbies that may have the same questions I have. I'm looking to buy a new Limited Pacifica.

1. How important is the Safety Sphere? Most cars that I'm looking at come with it but the one I want doesn't. I've seen posts that the Safety Sphere is a must have. Is it worth it to ask for it and pay the extra $1,495?

2. I checked out Carvana and wow, new cars there are really marked down from the msrp! I'm a little leary buying a car over the internet so probably won't but still wonder how they get new cars so inexpensive.

3. Costco is having a special $1,250 incentive for a new pacifica - so cool because it works for me! When do I mention this to the dealer? After we agree on a price? Or is that rather disingenous?

4. How important is myflexcare? Some cars have it and other's don't. Doesn't seem to be something I need. Thoughts?

5. I keep reading about the transmission not being great. How important is it to buy an extended warranty? I'd like to keep the car as long as possible. I've had my toyota for 18 years!

6. Is there any way to avoid the destination charge? Its $2k!!!

7. NJ dealers have a $1k doc fee! A PA dealer I'm looking at has a $490 fee which I like. That's a pretty big difference.

I need a new car asap as my 20 year old toyota is dying on me. I really like the pacifica but dread going to the dealer and haggling. Any tips on how to do this and not sound like an idiot? should I check the website prices first and go with the cheapest one? how do I know if the dealer is pulling a fast one on me? I'm a girl so already I feel like I'm at a disadvantage.

A few years ago I drove a rented Pacifica 9 hours to Canada and it had the short console (it didn't attach to the dash). There was a convenient open space between the dash and console and I placed my purse there. It was perfect. I'm ready to buy a Pacifica now but can only find the short console on the Select trim but I really prefer the Limited trim. However, the Limited trim does not come with the short console! What's a girl to do!!! The long console (attached to the dash) has an opening at the bottom but its hard to get to and I don't want to shove my purse down there. Any advice on what to do?
