Hi, ich hatte mich gefragt welche Apps ihr so verwendet um entweder direkt Filme zu gucken oder euch zu welchen zu informieren oder bspw. Zu schauen wo diese streambar sind?

Rewatch something you’ve already seen.

I’m building Struffle to solve that moment.

It’s a movie and TV discovery app that uses your taste, the streaming services you actually have, and who you’re watching with to help you decide faster. You can swipe through titles, build a watchlist, and stop discovering films you can’t actually watch.

The brutal question:

Is this a real problem worth solving — or is Struffle just Letterboxd, JustWatch, and Tinder wearing a trench coat?

What I want roasted:

• The core idea and positioning

• Whether “who you’re watching with” is actually compelling

• Why someone would use this instead of Letterboxd, JustWatch, or ChatGPT

• Anything about the product that feels unnecessary, confusing, or doomed

Don’t be nice. If the idea is weak, I’d rather find out now than after launch.

If it somehow survives the roast, I also have a small Android beta for anyone who wants to try it.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for honest feedback from movie and TV fans on a beta app I’ve been building.

The problem I’m trying to solve is pretty simple:

- having multiple streaming services often makes choosing harder, not easier

- it’s easy to spend more time searching than actually watching

- recommendations often don’t match your actual taste

- even when something looks interesting, it may not be available on your services

The app is called Struffle. It helps you discover movies and shows based on your taste, filter by your streaming services, manage a watchlist, and mark what you’ve already watched.

I’m currently in beta and trying to find out whether this is genuinely useful, or whether I’m still missing the real problem.

This is not a streaming app. It doesn’t let you watch movies or shows directly.

Hallo zusammen, wir wollen Mitte August zu zweit eine Hüttenwanderung in der Nähe von München machen. Wir wollten es für den Einstieg etwas einfacher halten. Wir würden freitag anreisen und Sonntag abreisen wollen. Könnten auch mit Auto nach Österreich fahren, falls das Sinn macht. Das Hauptproblem sind wahrscheinlich aktuell die Verfügbarkeiten der Hütten.

Habt ihr Vorschläge was man machen könnte? Vielen Dank vorab!
