Do you normally go through Thai Friendly, go on Beach Road or do you use other methods for meeting freelancers?

Basically do you drink what you normally do back home or try something different?

I understand the concept and how it works from a technical standpoint but I was just wondering:

1. When you want to bar fine a girl do you just call over the mamasan and ask her in front of the girl or do you do it in private?

2. Does the bar fine get added to your receipt in the bin or do you just pull the cash out then and there when you ask the mamasan?
