I have a new-to-me-but-older Kubota b1750 and the height adjustment for the 3pt has a wingnut to set a max bottom height - adjusting it is a pain the rear.

Suggestions for something else?

So I picked up a 3 pt auger from Facebook marketplace, and it wasn't digging at all.

Read a bunch of different things - speed up PTO, slow down PTO, etc.

Then i realized - damn those teeth sure look worn out, and hrm, the drill tip looks pretty beat too.

Holy crap - I can't believe how worn out they are.

I'm not sure the pictures do justice for the auger drill bit, but the difference is incredible.

Anyhow, figured it might help someone who's not super familiar with an auger who might stumble on this post
